Did someone say spa????? How nice, don't wait for me, but I'll be back in MA by May 1st. Keep me posted. Glad ya'll had such a great day. Me, I spent the day preparing for an onslaught on 11 & 12 years olds for my son's 12th b'day! No complaints though, I'm just glad I'm here and feelin good!!!!
-
Fabulous time! Too bad I had to go to the bathroom and didn't get a chance to say a proper good bye to everyone. It was wonderful to meet all you lovely gals. DEB, thanks for the planning. All of you, take care and stay out of the rain and sleet today. Sue

Deborye -- thanks for doing such a good job of organizing. It was great meeting everybody. It would be nice if occasionally we could each post to the Boston site letting each other know how we are doing. In that vein, I was wondering if you might be willing to do another task and that is make a list of the women who were there with their website name and their real first name and post it. Without out that I am afraid I will lose track of who I met and what they look like. Again, I really benefited from meeting everyone and hearing a little about who we are and where we are on the journey.
-
Deb - thanks for taking the reins and doing the legwork that ended with such a nice afternoon. It was terrific to have the chance to meet and chat with the wonderful women who were there. I've PM'd you with my e-mail so I can have the photos to remember the day.
-
Chris,
is this the Boston site? should we keep posting here or is there somewhere else where we can keep track of each other?????
thanks again deb!

I am getting soccermom2 and momand2kids mixed up, can someone help me. Sue61 who was sitting on your left? I thought it was soccormom2.
-
I had fun, it's nothing as long as everyone is on the same page which we all were.
-
Deb, I believe Soccermom2 was sitting to Sue61's left. correct me someone if I'm wrong. Momand2kids was at the end of the table on the same side as Sue61.
-

Hi everyone, answer is yes. i meant that we could use this site to post updates on how we are all doing. Thanks Deb for sending the list--every group needs someone like you. If anyone has scans coming up or having a problem coping or gets good news, we could share it. Everything is calm with me with a tiny exception. I have these lumps on my eyelid. Eye doctor said that he thinks they are cholesterol deposits, but because of my history I should have an mri. I went for the mri but I could not stand being in the tube. I think I am going to look into going to an open mri machine, which I understand is in Brighton. I am sure many of you have had mri experiences. i was surprised as to how close the tube was to your face. Anyhow, not a real serious problem, just something that has to be worked through. Looking forward to seeing how the election goes tomorrow. Best to all.
-
chris, did I send you the pics, i don't remember?
-
Chris, I will bet you that the lumps are cholesterol deposits. I used to work in the out patient dept with an eye surgeon every now and again. Saw lots of them. You should have shown them to be so I could diagnose you, ha. Let us know.
Isn't it sad that every odd little thing gets really blown up once you have this dx? sheesh.
I had a ball. Too bad about my bathroom break as I missed saying good bye to most of you. It was such a nice time. I am sure the poor waiter was glad when we left! Such a rowdy group??
DEB, again thanks for all your hard work. You sure have a lot of energy.
Sue

chris,
whenever i have an mri i always take an ativan about an hour before--i have a real problem with claustrophobia, but the ativan takes the anxiety away. i couldn't do the mri without it. good luck and let us know how everything goes.

Hi Ellie, I will be thinking of you and hoping everything is OK. I had onc F/U last week, all went well. I will see her again in May also a MRI on Pancreas cause of a cyst they found in 2007 when I was dx, it disappeared and she wants to make sure it has not come back. Then my mam in June with a F/U with BS.
No ta-ta reunion here, no $$$$. We lost 2 sisters, watson and kbugmom, there is a support meet in chat Sunday around 7:00 pm til ?
Hugs,
Debbie

Hey Ladies! Ellie best of luck this week! Deb happy to hear you are doing well! Sorry about the loss of your 2 friends, this Dx has too many deaths!!!! I am well blood work Mon and Onc appt on WEd, hope those tumor markers stay low!!!! The thoughts of more Tx makes me sick I just finished in Sept!!!!
It was so much fun to meet you all and I loved the pics!!! Let's stay in touch!! Dawn
-
Hi Ladies,
Ellie, I'll be crossing my fingers for you. Dawn, hoping your markers stay low. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE! Deb, what's an F/U - glad it went well even though I don't know what it is! Hopefully the pancreas cyst is still MIA. Going to church tomorrow. I'll pray for all of us.
Not going to Vegas. Didn't know about it but can't spend the $ either. Going to Disney with the family in April. Can't wait!!! Have been feeling ok. I have an infusion of zometa on wednesday and I'm also getting iron as my iron level has been very low. I also have terrible wrist pain with a bump on the inner part of my wrist. Not sure what it is. I have rheumatoid arthritis in my blood (I have the rheumatoid factor but not really diagnosed with RA because there has never been swelling of my joints. They've just always hurt. Now with the arimidex YIKES!) so I don't know if this has to do with RA or not. Also have these small bumps on both of my shoulders - in the same spot and they hurt to touch them?? Not only that but I just got my cpap for pretty bad sleep apnea! It does the trick though. Been sleeping really well. Going for a mammo on the 24th. Hopefully it will be ok.
Wow! Sorry to ramble. Got lots on my mind. Stay well every one.
xoxo Susan
