still waiting

I had my biopsy last Tuesday on the 26th of Jan. and still waiting to hear from my doctor.....I wish I could turn tables on some of these people and put them on the waiting end.  Wonder how they would handle waiting on their payment when the bill comes in?????  This seems like it takes a lifetime when waiting for something like this.  O.K, deep breath and calm down.

    Give the doc's offrice a call.  Every day until you get the results.  Better yet, 2 or 3 times a day.  Squeaky wheel and all. . .

    I would have already driven them crazy with calls!  What biopsy could take that long?  I know the her2 and Brca take weeks, but others should be quicker.  I agree with you.  All medical professionals should have to walk in our shoes for a day.  Let's see how they like waiting for biopsy and scan results :>  On the other hand, I have learned that when it is bad news I hear back almost immediately.  When it is good news, I have to call because they are in no hurry to call me.  So when I have a test, and I see the doctors number come up in caller ID I know to brace myself.  This is just my experience, but I am hoping you have good news!!

    still no news.  I called the office again today and the nurse said she had no idea if it was on his desk yet or not and he was gone for the day to be in surgery all afternoon.  She says she will check in the morning and him or her will let me know....How long does it take to get stains back on a tissue like that????  This is ridiculous as  a person could keel over waiting...I love doctors....hmmmm

    Jude, I agree they would not be happy waiting for their money.  Gotta love how long they make us wait, ugh!  Hoping for B9 results for you!!!

    Yeah got the results finally and they said B9!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this time..  Thanks for everyones replies...Wishing everyone the best.  It is really horrible waiting when you have been told IDC once before and ya thnk oh no is it back.....You are all in my prayers always  jude
