Bio-Idenicals

Not sure if this is the right forum to post this but here goes. I'm 6 years out of treatment for Stage 1 BC and have been in hormone hell. I suffer with monthly bladder infections, no sleep, no sex etc and can't deal with it any longer. My NP doc says Bio-Identical is the way to go. My GYN said no way as I was Estrogin Positive. What's a girl to do? I've tried every other natural supplement you can think of all with no results. Am I crazy to go with the Bio-Identicals that Suzanne Summers takes?

lucy88, was your cancer ER+? Stage and grade? I'm just wondering what factors the Doc had to take into account in blessing the bioidentical hormone. And which bioidentical hormones?

Katgirl, you're smart to do your research on the pros and cons of BHRT before jumping in.

Tim, ER+/PR+, grade 3. Estradiol cream + progesterone cream. Doc has 80-plus patients on BHRT. There are existing retrospective studies. More are ongoing.
