OK Cool Karen! Thank you
Lilah
-
Glad to have you, Lilah!
Karen - you are a far better woman than me - a half marathon - WOW! You go, girl!
-

-
OOPS ONE MORE THING PLEASE KNOW THAT THE ROOMATE LIST IS MORE LIKE A HEAD COUNT OF WHO IS PLANNING ON GOING.LIKE LAST YEAR IT WILL CHANGE AS SOME LADIES WILL CANCEL.

The rooms look FREAKIN AMAZING!! AND TO HAVE OUR OWN CONCIERGE!! WOOOOO HOOOO!! Thanks for all of your work, you ROCK!!!
I just wish we were going at the same time as the Paint the Square Pink. We made such an impact on that event last year, I just feel like we should be supporting it. The Paint the Square event it Sept 25th. That's the last Sat in Sept.
Anyway I will be there no matter what!
-
Looks incredible! Prices seem fair (though I can get a free hotel room if I stay at Paris -- due to all my slot club chits -- but seems like it will be more fun to stay there together... so I am game).
But isn't that the ONE weekend Karen can't go?
Lilah
-
Lilah: I think we can go the following weekend as well.....I actually am waiting for confirmation that either the second or third weekend in October will be available at the same rate.
-
Lilah, yes, sadly I will not be able to attend that weekend. My nerd side quotes Spock as saying "the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few or the one." A three day weekend is probably best for most everyone else. Tracey you should take me off the list if that is going to be the weekend. Maybe NEXT year! Anyone can come to Portland any old time!
Val--Oh no, not a better woman, I'm turning 50 in April and it is a good goal for me to have, it will definitely be combo of walking, running, but hopefully no crawling!!!
Hugs Karen
-
Cool!
I've heard that the private pool and everything at the MGM condos is really nice. Good job Deborah!
Karen -- I am turning 50 in March. I didn't realize we were the same age. I am in SHOCK about this. I don't feel 50. I feel 25. How did this happen???
Lilah
-
Deborah--We must have been posting at the same time. I'll wait and see what happens, maybe it will work, but really, do what is best for the greatest number of Sisters.
Hugs--Karen

-
LOL Karen -- you and I keep posting at the same time too. (I added that part about 50th birthday after I wrote the first part... by the time I posted YOUR post was there -- and then it happened AGAIN with your second).
-
Lilah--I feel 25 too, but so GRATEFUL to be turning 50! I say bring on the years! You don't look nearly 50...have you checked your birth certificate????
Hugs--Karen
-
I am hoping to join the Ta-Ta's this year. Need lots of prayers that DH finds a job before the trip. Loved meeting the Ta-Ta's this weekend in KC - can only imagine what a blast Vegas will be.
-
Many Ta Tas cannot make it the Oct 10th weekend it seems....??
If the rooms only hold the same 4.. what is the big hupla? I was thinking that the new rooms would hold more girls and be right next door to eachother. Last year we had rooms of 4.. but they had to be spread out some...
Are the new rooms .. at the new hotel... right close to eachother? If they are.. PERFECT... if not... any hotel would be fine.
THe goal is to get as many of us together... in close proximity as possible. This is what we talked about in detail months ago...
I am getting Pm's about all this... and I think all need to post it here.. openly... It is ok... we are a group of great women.... we talk freely..:).......
Deborah and whomever is planning the rooms..... are you making the rooms close together... same floor... maybe.. rooms.. ( condos)... 1,2,3,4,56,7,8,9 and 10? I know we all wanted to be closer ... no matter where we stayed. The closeness was the important part.... ((VEGAS))
WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
-
I have to agree with Laura - if the rooms only hold 4 people each then I don't see the need to go the condo route - instead let's stay in a hotel on the main strip that will give us good rates. The Mirage was really nice last year and the price was extremely reasonable. I think they charged only $75 for the last night we were there split up between the roomies. They might even give us a better rate this year since we were there last year. Besides, these casinos give away free rooms all of the time - they make their money on us slot losers (ummmm...talking about myself here).
Did Traceyz ever tell you gals how she won $100 off of MY $7.00?
I think we need to be walking distance from the Piano Bar! Ya'll about killed me last year but I don't mind that walk again - I just don't want to be walking 10 miles after drinking and at 3 am again! Last year I think it took us almost an hour to walk from New York, New York back to the Mirage which is doable. 2 hour walk? Out of the question
I agree with JazzyGem - I would love to make it at the same time as Paint The Square Pink and that is Sept 25th according to Jazzygem so is that weekend a possibility instead of waiting for October?
-
I am happy to go/stay anywhere.
Karen -- you don't look 50 either!
Lilah
-
Lilah, Karen and Val, I didn't look through the post until after I looked at the room list. If there's room for four, could I stay with you? On the other hand, I'm happy to stay with anybody. Geez, I feel like I'm in first grade again "Can we be friends?" :-)
Julie
-
If I can say to the new ladies this year... for their " safe feeling"
Whomever you stay with... it works out great.... don't think you will be left out... NO WAY!...
You are all friends.. WE are all sisters!....
Just wanted to give you a pep talk...:) Love ya!
-
Definitely Julie! Can't wait!
Lilah
-
Laura I love your pep talks!
So when do we get a few details on the Kansas City Slumber Party? Hmmm?
Just curious what you did for the weekend... how many were there... stuff like that.
Lilah

HELLO MY BEAUTIFUL SISTERS!! OK WHAT DEBORAH HAS WORKED ON IS ONE OPTION FOR US TO CONSIDER. THIS WEEK I WILL BE BACK IN TOUCH WITH THE MIRAGE AND A FEW OTHER HOTELS TO SEE WHAT WE CAN COME UP WITH ON PRICING. ONCE I HAVE GOTTEN SOME RATES I WILL PRESENT THE BEST RATE TO YOU AND WE CAN THEN DECIDE ON A DOUBLE ROOM FOR 4 ON THE STRIP OR A CONDO FOR 4 NEAR THE STRIP. EITHER WAY WE WILL BE CHECKING TO SEE IF WE CAN BE CLOSE TOGETHER IN THE HOTEL.
JAZZY, IM WITH YOU ON THE PAINT THE SQUARE. I COULD NOT FIND THE DATE SO IM GLAD YOU DID. I WOULD LOVE FOR US TO ATTEND THAT AGAIN!! CAN I GET ANOTHER SHOW OF HANDS WHO WOULD BE ABLE TO GO THE WEEKEND OF SEP24TH?? I KNOW MANY OF YOU PERFER OCTOBER BUT COULD WE MAKE SEPTEMBER WORK???
ANYHOW I WILL LET CHA KNOW WHAT I GET ON THE STRIP HOTELS BY SUNDAY SO HOLD TIGHT. REMEMBER LADIES WE ARE VERY EARLY IN THE PLANNING STAGES SO GIVE US A LIL TIME TO GATHER THE INFO SO WE CAN OFFER IT UP AND MAKE THE BEST DECISION BASED ON THE MAJORITY.
IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS OR COMMENTS PLEASE FEEL FREE TO PM ME. I JUST DONT GET A CHANCE TO READ ALL THE POSTS SO THAT IS THE BEST WAY FOR ME TO HEAR YOU.
THANKS MY LITTLE LOVELYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SEE YA IN VEGAS BABY!!
-
I definitely can"t make it if it is in September - so that is out for me....but if that is when the majority wants to go I understand.
Peg
-
Ok I can definitely do the last weekend of September but if October is important then how about Oct 1, 2, 3
I will make that one weekend in October work one way or another.....I just really dont want to miss this
Teresa
-
I'm good for any of those weekends.
Try the Paris -- it's across the street from Bellagio and Caesar's Palace
Nice location!
Lilah

Any date will work for me this year. I bet getting us all together in the hotels is hard. Thank you for trying.
The Kansas City trip is on Shutterfly now... In order for you to see... you will have to get the Password from PACKERGIRL on this site. It is a private showing for just us... Safety for us gals ...
....
What we did:
TALK TALK TALK...:).... Hair Hair Hair.... EAT EAT EAT.... Night club... oldies kinda band.... dance dance dance.... pool pool pool ( Teresa beat my hubby TWICE...hehe... and Diane tried to hold her own...) ... Mexican food... movie.... and more TALK TALK TALK.... oh yes.... and mucho foobie show....:)... and we got me meet a new TaTa ( well..new to our get togethers...) Denise ( MooreTennis)..
