I have a question,

I am in the middle of tissue expander expansions. I am presently at 250cc's as of todaya nd they look huge! The PS said 4 more fills to go. I am thinking I don't want to be huge.I just wonder how many CC's in the expanders to end up a full b or small c cup.The nurse told me when I first went maybe 500.Sounds like a lot especially with only 250 cc's in now and they look huge.

Thanks in advance for any info you girls may have.

It depends on your ribcage size and other measurments.  I have 800 cc implants and I am a B cup.

421 midrange sil and I'm a 34D.  It depends on your height, wieght, ribcage size and shape, not to mention the profile of the implant that they use at exchange to name a few variables.  I would recommend that you 'speak' dimensions to your PS as opposed to cup size.  Tell him/her when you are the size that you like. I told my PS that I wanted the same projection and width as my expander (which was filled to 370).  She 'did good'.  Best wishes

    Im 5'3. Small framed.

I had my expanders filled to 400cc. I just had my exchange surgery, and 410 gummy bear implants were placed. Im a "full" C cup.

    I was a D cup.....almost DD.

    DFC1994,

Like it was said before it depends on your size.  I would recommend you go to the Exchange  City thread.  You will need your TE type and sizes, height, weight, rib cage.  And then you need to see what projection your looking at for the final implant.  For me I am 5'3', 119 lbs, rib cage 29 and I had Allergan hi profile style 20, 425ccs inserted.  This gives me a 34C but i prefer a 36B.  You can't go only by ccs.

I am a small lady. I am 5ft and weigh about 111 pounds and small shoulders.I wear size small tops. I was a full C before mastectomies(and saggy) and a D when I was younger in high school. Are the size the tissue expanders look during fills going to be the actual size of the final implants? I thought maybe the final implants would look smaller.I will ask more questions at my next fill.Maybe mine just look so big to me because I was used to them being saggy and these are ''up there''.

I am getting silicone gummy implants.not sure the brand etc yet.

I have Mentor high profile 350 cc implants.  I am quite thin - about 5'6'' and 115 pounds.  I was a small (and saggy) 34B before my surgery.  I'm now a big B.  My expanders were only filled to 300 ccs as I had a very difficult time with the whole expansion process; I had a lot of pain and my muscles didn't seem to be stretching well.  But, the tissue expander itself takes up space, so my PS was able to put in the 350 cc implants.  I'm very happy with the size.  I think much bigger would have looked strange on my small frame.

The implants will be a bit "saggier" than the expanders (in a good way), and they are SO much more comfortable.  Good luck to you!

My ps and I didn't talk about cup size only what I looked like. He let me have fills until I felt that I was 'big enough', he never said we have to do x number of fills before we talk exchange. When I told him I felt that I had reached the size I wanted to be, he let me rest and 'live with the size' for 4 weeks before we discussed exchange. I wanted to be in control of the finished size.  And as everyone said it does depend on your specific body type and the size and shape of the implants.

I am 5'2" and 110 lbs.  I have 350CC on my prophylactic side and 375CC on previous Radiated side.  Natrelle by Allergan Smooth round high profile silicone.  I went from a barely B to a C cup.  I love my size and would not have wanted to be any larger for my body size.

My PS told me that when my expanders got to the size I wanted to let him know and then we would do one final fill.  I tried on bras until a 34C fit me.

I was expanded to rad side 350cc  the other side 320cc.  The implants were just a tab bit larger than my expanders.  I have pictures posted on the picture forum if you have gained access to it...if not, you can send Timtam a private message making a request to enter the forum.

Just remember that every "body" is different and 350cc on me is a C where on someone else it might be an A cup.

I have 285s and am very happy.... implants can be heavy and I didn't feel the need to go big (was always A/B range).  They are about an A+ or B- and look great under clothes--"just enough."

The reason I wanted to go larger was because I had entered menopause and knowing that most women's bodies "mature" at this time.....and that these fake things would not "mature" with the rest of my body ...... I did not want my body to enlarge and not my boobs so that is why I decided to go ahead and make them larger....I was just looking into the future...so much to think about in the whole process of reconstruction.....I can already see my body changing....menopause sucks!!

LOL Linda!!!  LOVE your take on what I affectionately call 'mental-pause'.

I went bigger because I could!  Laughing  I always wanted a bit more so I made lemonade out of my lemons (pun intended).  I went from a barely B to a small D and couldn't be happier.  They aren't heavy at all and the sils feel soft and natural.I do have to add that implants (because they are firmer than normal breast tissue and perkier) do tend to appear a bit smaller than real breasts. I look more like a nice full C than I do a D.  Now if I want to play them up, I wear a push-up bra or a contoured bra and VOILA, I look like I have Ds or DDs but don't have to look like that every day (unless I choose to)....kind of the best of both worlds IMO. I also have cleavage for the first time in my life and I'm loving that!!!!  Best wishes
