Finnish new treatment reduces breast cancer deaths by one third

I had heard this before but THANKS much for this link. I just had to stop herceptin, possibly for good, after having 17 treatments and about 8 or 9 left. Again, thanks much for the link.

Pretty crappy reporting -- doesn't identify which cytostatic agent they're using with Herceptin.  "Cytostatic" means "Inhibiting or suppressing cellular growth and multiplication" -- in other words a general word to describe pretty well every type of chemo we're on.

Edit: Could the reporter be writing about TDM-1?  As I understand it, TDM1 is Herceptin "attached" to maytansine (a cytostatic agent).  The new and improved super Herceptin.
