Hurrah! My SNB results came back 0/3 so nothing in the lymph nodes! Of course the suspicious, dark part of my mind thinks I can't take that for granted, not yet, but..still! I am having a mastectomy on Tuesday because the DCIS (high grade) is all over the breast and needs to go, but hopefully, that will be the end of treatment, apart from regular checks on the other breast. I bought some champagne to celebrate. Someone said somewhere else they felt they'd won the cancer lottery, and I must say, that is how I feel. Bloody lucky. I know it's not the end of the road - but my load suddenly feels a lot, lot, lighter. Thought I would share this because sometimes you can feel so saddened by the bad news in the forum (I know I do), that it's good to know there is good news, too.

    "cheers"  ....that was me toasting you and your good news!  I am sorry you have to have a mastectomy but so happy to hear about your SNB resutls!  Yea!  so nice to hear good news.

    Great news, Kelly!  I remember how nervous I was waiting for those SNB results and I also remember the tremendous relief when I got the word that my nodes were clear!  Doing the happy dance for you!
