Dragging

Girls,

I usually exercise every day, and I'm going from early morning until well past 10 pm.  I did go through a time period where I was getting up at 5:45 to exercise.  Right now, I'm at home on FMLA taking care of my DH, and suddenly in the last couple of days I feel like crap and something just doesn't feel right.  My rational brain keeps telling me that it's because of everything I've been going through with my DH, and I'm overdoing it, but I'm also always thinking about recurrence and how there couldn't be a worse possible time for it to happen.  I usually feel worse later in the day as I get closer to bedtime, and maybe I'm just pushing too much.  I hope that's all it is....I don't have any specific pains anywhere.  I just feel like crap!!!!!!

Hugs

Bobbie

Honey, you are going through so much right now with DH.  You are taking care of him, running the family and I'm sure the boys have their own activities that you are running them here there and everywhere.

Are you taking vitamins?  B-complex?  How many hours of sleep are you getting a night? Is it complete or broken up in spurts and not getting a good span of sleep in one shot?

    (hugs)

PLEASE....Take care of yourself. I know it's hard but you need to somehow someway do things to help your energy and health. Atleast sleep 8 hours if at all possible. You know I juice and I feel like super women so I am always pushing juicing. Just try to do little things yoga for 10 minutes in the shower, vitamins, deep breathing, try a juice.

I just ate a red pepper for breakfast. I didn't have time to do anything healthy this morning so that is what I ate.  I deal with the same fears fo you-b-c we are both cancer survivors.

Bobbie - I get up early too, and by 8:30pm I am dozing in front of the TV. Really, every night! It is a running joke with me and my husband that I see the first 5 minutes of every show that starts at 9:00pm. I cannot stay awake.

With all you are going through, I can imagine your stress level is really high as well. I would put my money on good old "being tired" than anything more worrying.

Sending you hugs - and try and get to bed earlier if you can!

I know it seems silly that I'm concerned about being tired with all that we are going through....Sometimes I can't get away from thinking that the Big C is in there dying to get out and create more chaos in my life.  I know we can all relate to that!

This morning, I should have ran but I opted to take it easy and go on the elliptical instead.  As I finished, I flipped the TV channel to the one with advertisements and music, and Sam and Dave's "Hold On...I'm Coming" came on.  Even though I feel dragged out, I managed a good booty dance to it.  Felt like my old self!

    Hugs

Bobbie - Are you kidding me?  If you werent exhausted I would think you got into the pain meds stash!!!!   Cancer will not F with you anymore - I forbid it!  But all kidding aside, emotional stress is exhausting.  Take good care of yourself - eat well, supplements, SLEEP when you can, laugh as much as possible.....

Bobbie of course you're tired, you and your body have been through so much. It took a while to tare you down so it will take time to build back up. I am in the same boat, I get tired so easy but between chemo and my heart and I'm on Tamoxifen which is always lovely. Give yourself time and listen to your body, rest when you need to. You will be back to your old, new self real soon.

it's emotionally draining to care for someone..  that has a physical effect. gosh.. praying for you sister.

lots of protein and fruit.  when I'm feeling my worst I eat salmon and oranges.. (kind of nutty, but i always feel lighter and better after a couple days of those 2 foods)

With all you're going through it's no wonder you're dragging........... When you're stressed you become even more fatigued/exhausted.  As hard as it is, try to rest and keep drink plenty fluids.

Glad you were able to get a little dance going - I like to sing outloud (and am always off tune) to just about anything  - it always seems to "pick me up".

LOL, Bugs!!!!!!!!!!!  You'll have to come to Carlisle, or vise versa, so we can do the booty hop.  That song gets me going, too.  Just the thought of a bunch of us girls moving to that one gives me the giggles!!!!!!

What about asking your doc to run blood work-not to look for cancer but too see what your low on. I use my blood work as a map for taking care of myself and increase the foods I need.

At this point if your exercising your one step ahead of a lot of people who suffer from exaustion-exercise wouldn't even be in there vocab.

Take care of yourself-start the day with protein!!!! Juice-I swear by that crap.
