Hi,

I was dx in 06', and in 07' had total hyst/ooph to stop the estrogen storm. I was 100% er/pr+ and since then tried different vitamins, all ending in rash or itching. I believe its the iodine (highly allergic to that and many other things), and/or povidone iodine in the vitamins, AND the calcium is from oyster shell usually. I have also tried elemental calcium and same happens.. My D and D3 is really low.. Im on Zometa, and I dont know what else to do! My onc says take elemental calcium and D3.. hello--I've done that!

so with all that said, I wonder what can I do to get the proper vitamins, before something not good happens. any suggestions, greatly appreciated..

ps-broccoli every day is not an option--lol

I use a chocolate calcium supplement called Adora.  Each disk has 500 mg of calcium and 100 of vitamin D.  Since it is in a chocolate form, maybe  would reduce your risk of an allergic reaaction (provided you aren't allergic to chocolate).  The Adora is very tasty and 3 disks provide your daily calcium/D requirement.  Each disk has 30 calories.  My Ob/Gyn recommened it.

    Hi peachy49

The calcium in the Adora is calcium carbonate.  Good luck.  Maybe the chocolate would counteract the calcium reactionUndecided....
