Thinking Out Loud.....

I just got back from grocery shopping, $103.00 for just 2 ppl. YIKES!
No sunshine here either, it is suppose to pour tonight and tomorrow.
-
Hello my fellow computer potatos!!
Turkey anything sounds good. I just ordered chineese food to have while watching the football game. Oh no!! So much for the diet today. I did go for my walk!!
-
I had a late dinner. 2 Turkey burgers,,,brussel sprouts,,,and a bake potato.
For dessert I had one hershey kiss, took my calcium pill with a tall glass of water.
I am full and satisfied. It was a kind of boring day. I heard the airports here are on over 2 hour delays, I dont know why, its drizzling and no wind. Tomorrow we suppose to get heavy rain and some thunderstorms.
I spoke with both of my girls today.
My Father has been quite since Friday.
By tomorrow or next day the new symptoms will start to appear again.
The strange part is that I never told him about my BC because I don't think I could have handle his constant worries and calling me all day. That was a good decision for both of our sakes.
When I was bold I told him I had a very bad infection and the strong antibiotics are causing the hair loss.
-
My father has dementia, so when I tell him I have an appt with my oncologist, he says, "What for." I give up.
-
Sheila,
Your dad does not know you had bc? Maybe he would stop complaining to you about his problems if he knew you had some of your own!
Deb, my grandfather had dementia too and I know how aggravating it can be. The one good thing that came from dementia was that he forgot he smoke cigarettes!
-
Are you crazy? He would start looking at me as the most fragile thing in the world (IN a caring way) that would really make me crazy. I dont like it when they say <You poor Thing> I hate that expression.
-
Yes, I am crazy, but that's beside the point! LOL!
I know what you mean. My mom and dad used to call me everyday, stop by all the time, take me out to lunch at least once a week. It was nice but too much. I know they mean well. Now that I am *cured* they have backed off some. Even when I have my mams and MRI's and other appointments, I just tell them that everything was fine. No need to worry them.We will take care of you!! You poor thing! LOL!! -

Good Morning!
Weather is very scary outside. The wind blew all my chairs in my back yard. If it wasn't 55 degree and this was snow instead of heavy rain we would have 2 feet of snow today.
And how is your weather?????
Oh one more think I did it. Lost 10 pounds as of this morning. Down to 162. 5 more and thats it, I want to remain there if I loose little fine. Later I will post a picture how 10 pound fat looks like.
Hi Deb...I don't know the time of your app...I'm thinking of you just in case if you are peeping.
Hi Kbug my dear friend.
-
I'm thinking of you too Peeping Deb. Let us know how it goes.
Weather is the same here. It is 56 degrees o0ut, wet and windy!! I went to the market, put the stuff away. Now I need to clean and vacuum and do laundry. I'll keep checking in!
-
The weather is horrible! 55 is nice!! But the 60 mile per hour winds stink!!
-
Everything is quit now. The windows were shaking before, I closed my eyes and covered them with my hands.
Linda... are you finished with all the cleaning?
-
I love watching this weather! My flag and flag pole flew off my house and landed in a bush.
I am never done with cleaning. It's a vicious cycle. I clean while the kids are gone and then the minute they come home, disaster hits!!
My son raised 785.79 dollars for the Haitians last friday in school. I'm very proud of him!
-
I am very proud of him too.
I wonder how is kbug doing?
-
I do too. I hope she is okay. I wonder how Deb did today.
We just got our power back. It went out at 3:45 and came back about 20 mins ago. Not fun!
-
We had power outages too, even some local schools where I am but didn't touch our neighborhood.
Deeeeeb...Are you home?
I posted about kbug if you didnt read it go to her thread.
-
Maybe Deb has no power???

Here I am. My appointment was fine, I'll see her in 4 months. She wants one more MRI on my Pancreas to make sure the cyst is gone, then they will stop ordering them for me. My insurance use to pay 100% but now I have a co-pay of $50. She felt a lump or something on the other side but after putting tons of pressure on it she said it feels like a gland and not to worry. I can feel it also, it is not hard kind of like fatty tissue.
-
Deb...Glad you are home safe and you have been squeezed and pressed.
Whats going on with the Pancreas?
-
When I was dx, they did the CT, bone, x-rays and blood work to make sure there was not any mets. So when the CT scan came back there was a 12mm lesion in the head of the Pancreas. Comments on report said it looks like a cyst but should have F/U MRI's. That was in 2007, now they can't see it anymore. Dr. Chun, my onc, wants one more MRI. That will be in MAY. I probably had that for a long time and did not know.

Good night!

Good morning. Still raining! Thank God this was NOT snow!!
-
Good Morning.
Reporting from NY beautiful sunny skies and warm. I have to walk for 3 times longer today to catch up. Cold weather is coming back again.
I talk to you later.
-
Me too! Just got back from errands, now going for a walk. Thanks for sending the sunshine! Talk to you later.
Linda
-
I just got back! It's beautiful but soooooo windy! I can't believe all the tree that are down from yesterday!
-

I bought Edy's Fruit Bars All Natural 70 calories each and a brand new flavor Pomogrante. I am excited now. I also got bite size prunes, I love them. And of course Salmon for tomorrow night.
