Does anyone have experience taking b6/glutamine for neuropathy?

I am currently getting weekly Taxol and Herceptin (for 12 weeks) and then continue with Herceptin.

I have had 2 weeks of Taxol so far. My onco said I could take 100mg of B6 daily and I also take glutamine starting 24 hours after chemo for 4 days. I take 10mg three times a day for 4 days. I bought my vitamin B6 and glutamine powder at Whole Foods. Iron Tek makes the glutamine powder. 1 teaspoon equals 5mg so I put 2 teaspoons in a cup and mix with a cold drink and do this 3 times a day.

So far, I have had no neuropathy but I am early in my chemo. Hope that helps.

Thanks so much.  I am going to pick up the b6 and glutamine today.  I hope the glutamine tastes ok.

I have been using the B6 for neuropathy for several years of chemo and I think it works real well.  I also have accupuncture for the neuropathy and that works great (but I still take the B6).  My onc says the B6 works on about 50% of his patients.
