good night Birthday Girl!
-
They are real
-
This the last one. Thank you for putting up with me.
I dedicate this very special flower to Faith.?????? hahahaha
Sheila
-
That last flower looks like the corpse flower, doesn't it?
-
I just googled it, it is. The beautiful flower has the aroma of decomposing flesh. they only bloom for 24 to 48 hours.
-
Oh I didnt know it wasnt a nice flower. and it smelt like a corpse. and only bloomed for short time.
I dedicated to Faith because of the shape and she was working on categorizing whatever......she needed to do in one of the threads. hahaha Sorry Faith.
Edit to change a word
-
We'll just call it Amorphophallus titanum, the latin name for it.
-
Strange vegetation.... symptom of drug usage?
Im watching an Amoryllis (sp) and the think grows right before your eyes. Twelve inches in 12 days from the day it cracked open from the bulb.... holy cow... and it is just starting to open. It reminds us that miracles happen daily.
-
That plant really does reek
-
and foxglove,gotta watch that one
-

-
Well I made it awake before noon today.
The good news is that means I slept a good many hours last night.
Thought I'd set a new record for sitting around in a fuzzy robe.
To arrive in time to find all of this good camraderie makes me smile from ear-to-ear.
Sheila. I'm shocked. LOLOLOLOL
Thinking of all our beachettes who have much to contend with.......

Coonie quit your coughin'
FootieDeb we always have lemonade here for you
Julz get that computer fixed, how do you think we can hold up without you???
Spar, we need your SPARkle around here.

ArnieARNIEArnieARNIE hoping you eventually make your way back beachside.
And Checkum...... we need prayers for Checkum!!!! Her surgery is first thing in the morning.
Celia..... maybe we can lure her back? With promises of artwork.
Katybug...... are you reading along???
Curliques???? Do you ever peak in, just to see the gorgous pictures?? Always thinking of you.
That's all I can remember about those who we miss...... I can't remember my middle name, but those of you in my heart are treasured. Along with our founding-angel of course.
-
Thinking about you Checkum. Prayers for all to go as planned tomorrow.
Gentle hugs.
Edit to add, thankyou for the reminder Faith. Sheesh, where is my brain?
-
Though you'd might like some surfer dudes Faith. You've been a bit frisky of late.
You figured me out! Nah, I like the boys and the beach, separate, together, whatever...
-
KonaKat!!! I don't know that I knew that you can post pictures......
Get to it.
Chop. Chop. So glad for some 'frisky' surfers!!
I never ventured out of my bathrobe, except during my titanic hot flashes of the day.
xx00xx00xx00xx

Now that's what I call a computer room...
Hugs to all

Faith,
Sorry sweetie but I think that I hold that world record but am happy to share.
I still love my fuzzy robe....have even tried to convince the kids I should wear it out ..lol
They didn't seem to think it was that funny...go figure
Glad you are feeling better
Sending you big hugs and love
Viv
This what my old friend the lilac robe looks like. Can't seem to work out why I can't wear it down to the shops.
-
I just learnt how to post pics -- I posted some of me and some girlfriends in the Caymans a few pages back (page 502). It was my escape between chemo and rads. I looked like hell, felt like hell, but cocktails by 11AM in the ocean helped smooth the bumps...
-
I couldnt resist the beauty of this bird
-
Vivvygirl, in my haste to get caught up on the boards this morning I thought at first your post said, "I even tried to conceive the kids...................". Doing a double take I got it correct the second time round. Well maybe it was the third try.
It's still early.
-
Well purple IS a good colour to conceive kids in....I should know!
-
Would love to be here!!!! lol
lol...sharon and barbe!
-
Thinking of you this morning Arnie!! Hope it goes well for you!!!
Hey Elizabeth----you're hooked now. Once you learn to post pics, here ain't no going back...LOL
Vivvy-----I love your robe!!! Do you get enough cool weather to wear it?....or maybe turn the air on 50 degrees? LOL
Hmmmmmm conception and purple...might be something to think about
Sharon and Faithie----thinking of ya'll today too with your appts......
((((((((((((((hugs to all beachies)))))))))))))))
