Not only is it wonderful that Jen will soon have a new little boy (and there's nothing like little boys -- I had three!) but equally as wonderful is how the anticipation of this child is bringing such excitement to so many of us who are battling this dreadful disease. How wonderful to see all the "aunties pacing" and waiting for news of this baby. It is refreshing that life does go on and we can push aside thoughts of this disease for a little while and share in the hope and celebration of this new life. Each new birth is a miracle. Thank you, God, for miracles.

Faith316 expressed exactly what I feel, this baby has lifted all our spirits. Hoping for news soon, I get on this site every hour or so looking for news about the baby and Jen. Those of you that have access to her facebook site remember to pass any news along to the rest of us.

Now, Jen, the for the pushing, round your back, take a deep breath, and -p-u-u-u-s-s-s-h-h-h. 3 times for each contraction, down, out, and up in a J. Let yourself totally relax in between contractions.

I was always starving after giving birth!

Me too! I had a coke and a donut after my last delivery. Couldn't eat for 7 months due to being sick and I wanted a donut soooooo bad! DH bought me a dozen!

I'm hoping she's tired and sleeping with that beautiful baby in her arms. They both are surrounded by a lot of love tonight.
