Jenn, thinking of you today, wondering if you will have the baby Sunday on your own or induced on Monday. Either way, prayers for a safe and happy delivery all around! God bless.

Hi Guys-I went in this morning and was 1 cent dialated so they feel being induced would work fine but when I heard I was pregressing I kind of chickened out. He agreed to let me go until Friday. Not to mention I logged on here b-4 going and read a story that broke my heart. Today was not a good day emotionally:) Anyway I have until friday to get him out or else I have to do the petocin and he mentioned a capitar of some sort which scared me so  I didn't ask any more.

I have bene induced b-4 and I had the baby in 20 minutes. I have quick labors that progress quickly so the petocin scares me and one less drug on this baby would make me happy.

So here I sit-very tired today and bit sad and emotional. Very hormonal I guess:) I will say I was doing well prior to this-I think I went a whole 3 or 4 days where I felt nornal and forgot about this whoe bc crap.

Hope you are all doing well.

Nothing else to add, except that I almost missed a deadline at work today because I kept coming back here to check on you.... Having a date like this come and go is so hard and it just gets added on top of everything else so go be good to yourself.  Or better yet, go have someone else be good to you.

My secret to induce labour is a good old fashioned orgasm.... worked 3 times for me.....Surprised

    Is that TMI?

Jen, you've been in my thoughts today too, and I was hoping to find that you had the baby in your arms by now, but you must be relieved to know you can carry him for just a bit longer.

    Gentle hugs

I went to the dr. today and still a whole lot of nothing:(  He said he really wants to induce me the 21st but no later than the 28th, so we'll see...  Either way, looks like your baby will be here before mine!  Induced labor with my first one took 23.5 hours, so I don't want to do that again!

Wow...this is exciting news. There will be two new babies introduced here this month. With all the trials and tribulations that everyone here is going through, I feel so joyous and hopeful to be welcoming two new little ones to the world. Smile

Jenn, I wish you all the best in the world. I can't even imagine the emotions you will feel whan you hold your sweet boy in your arms. Soak it all in and enjoy the beauty and wonder of life. Your beautiful boy will always be the blessed reminder of all that is right with the world.

    Sincere hugs and blessings

It loooks ike there is a lot of pacing in this labor waitingroom.  Everyone is anxiously awaiting the impending births.  KerryMac, you are so right!  I am at the stage in my life where I just love to do the baby-cuddling, not the birthing.

I have you two mommies-to-be in my prayers.

the best thing is that the labor pains are forgotten as soon as you hold your baby

no baby last night-I switchedpositions last night and heard a large snap-thought my water broke but I think my hip popped or something. The baby is sooo low my hips hurt when I sleep from the weight.

I am scheduled to go in Friday for induction so I am trying every trick in the book prior to get him out. I have been induced b-4 and well my daughter Ireland came in 20 minutes.

It should be ok though since i am dialated.

Off to do squats and walk:)

If your labors are that quick, I would want to be induced so I knew I could make it to the hospital.  My last one was 3 hours and 15 minutes of labor.  The hospital was about an hours drive away.  By the time I took the others to my mom's, got money at the ATM and drove over, I hardly had time to get on the brithing bed!

Just checking in to see about the babes....I remember how annoying it was when people called to say "Did you have the baby yet???"

I was 9 1/2 months along, and walking down the main street in my hometown, and someone I knew pulled over and asked me that!! Can you believe it?  It must have been hard for her to lose the baby fat, so she thought everyone looked that way after giving birth.

I have a friend who swore by Castor Oil to get her into Labour.....never tried it myself, but it worked for her three times.
