Has Anybody Gone on the Breast Cancer Survivors Cruise?
I just found out about the Breast Cancer Survivors Cruise being sponsored by Amoena and Breast Cancer Wellness Magazine. The 4th annual cruise is being held May 2-8, 2010 and is very reasonably priced. I have already paid my deposit as has one of my bco buddies. Sounds like a great cruise and I can't wait. Question is...this is the 4th annual cruise. Has anybody been on one of the previous ones? What was it like?

I had no idea there was a Breast Cancer Survivors cruise, but I am going to check it out right now.

Let's do it!

Genia and I already have our room reserved! $588 for a 7 day cruise really is not a lot of money! Also, when I called, the agent said that we get gift bags and a lot of other "perks" for booking with the BC group. There are speakers and pink pajama parties and lots more!
Edited to add - Also, there is a town called "Hell" on the Cayman Islands - for real. You can go there and send a postcard postmarked from hell and buy souveniers saying you've been to Hell and back - been there, done that! I actually went there with my daughter when we went on a cruise a couple of years ago...it's a pretty cool little place.

...I'd really like to go, but I can't afford it right now. Too bad they can't help make it more affordable for us.

Don't miss swimming/diving with the sting rays if you go to Cayman. Or just snorkle off the beaches. Best water this side of the equator.

DD and I went to 7 mile beach and the water and coral were awesome.
-
I'm bumping this in the hopes that maybe someone went on one of the previous 3. I'm really excited about it, but I'd love to hear from someone who has been on one.
-
Sounds like fun! I'd love to go!

The arrangements are being made by Great Southern Travel - 800-810-8610. I can't wait to meet these other awesome women!
