BTW----I forgot to add the really GOOD news: the neurological issues are resolving---about 80% gone! Thank YOU God!
-
Have I told you just how much I love seeing your smiling face on here?
-
And Saint I love to see Your smiles too.
God bless you and your wonderful friend.

Good morning to my friend-of-the-dwindles.
Dwindle, dwindle, little star.
The best example to us, by far.
Bouncing back & bouncing strong.
Laughing, praying all day long.
Dwindle, dwindle, little star.
Saint you've blessed us from afar.
Granted, this is just my first draft. I'm sure that we have other poets who can add their own verses. You are my star-shine, my only star-shine. You make me happy, when skies are gray, you'll never know, dear, how much I love you. Please don't take my star-shine away.

Strength and courage.
Strength and courage.
Strength and courage.

Saint and I have just spent a couple of hours in the deepest and heart-felt-est of conversations. We have each challenged each other -- beyond where we have ever been before.
We each felt that the Holiest of Spirits led our conversation, our praying, our investigation, our outbursts, our sobbing, our inquiry, our love being expressed.
All I can imagine, is that a conversation of this level was possible because of the many prayers being said here, for each of us.
I wish that somehow I could have recorded the entire conversation. Even for us, this was gold. Pure gold.
I wish for everyone on these boards to have someone that they can have as earnest a conversation, acknowledging failures & fears -- in the midst of offering encouragement and friendship.
This has been a rare day. One that I wouldn't want to repeat, but one that I can mark on the calendar as pivotal...... and I owe that to Pat, and the communal spirit that we share here.
Thank you for your prayers on our behalf.
I can sleep easily, now.

I forgot to post after our conversation last night.
Saint left her appt with her onc in possession of Xeloda. We're all hopeful that her return to this treatment, now that the continual blood transfusion are under control, will be a huge blessing thru out her body.
The funny thing was, that I literally 'talked-her-to-sleep' by rambling on with one of my pointless stories. Tooo funny. I sent her straight to slumberland, mid chapter.
I hope that she'll be able to join the update.
xx00xx00xx00xx
-
LOL ...Tooooo funny, Faith!.......You are the least oring people I know......Saint had to be absolutely wiped to fall asleep mid-chapter like that.........
Saint, happy Saturday to you, sweet sister........Hope the Xeloda does its job and kicks cancer's butt!.........Love you bunches!....... -
LOL, how did you know she fell asleep Faith? ((((Saint)))) did you start to snore?

Saint just called.
She is about to embark on a big day. She is going to be driven two hours to a retreat center where Cinderella and peers are have a confirmation retreat.
Saint is to speak to the entire group after lunch.
Saint's eyesight continues to 'decline' leaving her with double vision peripherally.
She has misgivings about going, but wants to do this for her daughter and the group.
We came up with a bail-out option. If the drive is toooo upsetting to her system, they can always abandon the trek, midway if necessary.
Anyhow. Specific prayers for safe travels and the strength to participate for her daughter.
