Our Escape

I think we need to do some planning here!!!! It was a HUGE help when I had something to look forward to (the 3 day) kept me focused kept me moving forward. What about a Sistah's get together. I have talked about it a few times with some of you... I think if we really put our heads together we could plan a weekend where we just get together, hug, laugh and love each other like nobody but ourselves can.. what do ya think? We can get the list together of who is in and then figure out a mid-point geographically that might work??? Then we can start figuring out the itinerary..
-
It's a great idea Checkum. I suppose I'll need to see about getting a passport one of these days. Unless ya'all want to meet at our place.
-
May your scan be routine and uneventful!!!

This morning Checkum & I had a flurry of FB messages back and forth. Think I.M. for the stone age. She wished me well, me the same back to her.
I was completely out-of-the-loop with what has been on her plate recently. (yes, a little self-absorbed here lately.)
Anyhow, I asked how she could possibly get her head 'around' scans and she said something to the fact of throwing her focus and every energy into knitting.
I said that she should knit a snugglie for the planet -- if that would help & keep her distracted. We laughed.
She signed off with the knitting reference: K1 P2 (knit one, purl two)
AND I remember most of the interaction. LOL
-
Did something happen to checkum while I was gone?
-
O. I used to knit. Thought it was deeper than that. Now I get it.
-
((((Checkum)))) thinking about you today!
(((Escapees))))

Even beavers have beautiful escapes.((checkum,Faith))

wonder if we could have a dam like that, secret hide out from the world
-
That is lovely and yes EWB you can have one, I give you permission and if anyone gives you a hard time tell them I said.
-
Checkum, DON'T make me take up knitting again. No good will come of it
.
-
Yeah Checkum!!!! You don't want me to start knitting either!
ESPECIALLY since I don't knit!!
Am I gonna have to send Bubba to hunt you down?
-
