    Hi Lynn. Thanks for join the give-a-hug-to-Norm club.

    We have turned into something of a little family for him. 

    We are always delighted to have additional supporters, regular or periodic. 

    Norm. My son-in-law leaves for Iraq/Afghanistan tomorrow. Will you ask Brenda and the kids to keep an eye on him for the next several months. I'd be grateful to know that she was keeping watch over him. He's tall -- so I know she'll spot him.

    Norm. Had a mamo today that indicates I have a proliferation of yuck, part II.

    Am headed to hospital in a couple hours for biopsy, to see what's really going on.

    Then will need to wait thru long weekend for pathology results.

    I felt you would want to know.

    Norm. It's cancer again for me.

    Having my big-time surgery on Jan. 15th.

    I know that you'll be praying for me & talking to Brenda on my account.

    I'm pretty calm, sitting here in my own little world..... it's telling others that rips me up.

    I cant begin to tell you how sorry I am,Faith.Know that Im praying for you and sending love n strength your way.....If anyone can beat this,its you.You are such a loving,caring lady thatshows the true meaning of friendship.You mean the world to me Debbie....and to soooo many others..

             Father I ask you to watch over my sister Debbie and to comfort her in the upcoming weeks,

            keep her strong and safe.Guild the doctors and heal her Father.  As you know Father Debbie is a kind person who never asks for much from others but is always the first one to reach out and give.

    She needs your help now so I ask in the name of the Father Son Holy Spirit that you protect our friend n sister....amen

    What a blessed way to begin my day & read your support and prayers.

    Suz you have forged the road ahead of me.

    Yesterday, I came up with the title: Cancer, The Sequel which enables me to laugh at the concept of returning down this road, all over again.

    I will have much to learn in the coming 10 days about releasing and letting go.

    I stand in appreciation of your prayer support.

    Norm, you know I am always thinking of you. Yesterday I stopped in a parking lot and said prayers for your continued strength.

    I need you now.

    The tables are turned and I will be depending on your prayers and example to get me thru the months ahead...... where I learn about limitation, pain, and emotions. I intend to make you proud of me, big brother of the north. I intend to make you proud.

    That is not to say that I won't have emotions all over the map. Last night was reduced to hysterical crying when I couldn't get my email to cooperate. Once the tears came I let them flow. Afterward felt very calm, almost immediately. I think that's due to the prayers I am receiving.

    Just a quick hello to u all....hope u all had a nice week end.

         as for me i guess the honeymoon phase of my fosterchild is over.he stayed away all weekend partying with his friends.he spent friday night in lock up at the police drunk tank n when i got him out sat. morning off he went again....oh the joys of parenting..lol..

           my thoughts n prayers are with u faith as the 15th nears.

    Norm, I was in such a rush when I posted last that I didn't see YOUR post......So sorry the kid is going crazy on you.......How old is he again?.....I sure wish I had some magic advice to help you but all I can suggest is counseling or just a plain old butt whooping!......Butt whooping is still legal you know......I had a cop friend tell me that you can use whatever force you need up top but not including capital punishment........Needless to say my DD did not like to hear that!....LOL.......Hope you have a better week and weekend........((((NORM)))

    Hollyann thanks for the encouragement.  U r 100% right about the good old whoopin but unfortunately it is againest mcf policy to spank any child in care..Im sure thats what he needs,I know that would get his attention.I gave my children a spanking when they needed it n it worked well.He"s 14 going on 6 by t.he way he act. Oh well,what can u do?

               I know this weekend will be a blast because I get the three brothers for 3 days...yahoo.They r such a blessing to me as much as I may be needed by them I need them too.every time I have them I feel so alive n part of a family again.
