    Thanks.  Iodine posted something similar on another forum.  I read a press release that came out from my cancer center during all the uproar when the USPSTF guidelines were published. What my center (and my BS/surgical onco, in an accompanying video) recommended was essentially what's in these "new" guidelines.

    The only thing about this that gives me the tiniest bit of concern is that the "new" recommendations for early (age 40) mammograms, plus other imaging studies as needed (MRI and/or ultrasound), are coming from ... wait for it ...

    ... the Society of Breast Imaging and the American College of Radiology.

    Okay, I know ... they'd be the experts on the issue of breast imaging for early dx of BC.  But, is it possible that radiologists, particularly those specializing in breast imaging, might have a vested interest in keeping the mammography screening numbers up as high as possible?

    Just me, causing trouble (as usual)...
