Favorite Paraben Free Products?

Options

I've recently decided to transition all my cosmetics, skin care, shampoo, etc. to paraben free.  Does anyone have any favorite products they can recommend?

So far my best purchase has been the Lorac concealer I got from Sephora.

I have been using Josie Maran's mascara - also bought at Sephora.  Can't say that I love it - really did love my Lancome mascara, but it's better than none and is paraben free.

I will check out that concealer.  I am also on a quest to be paraben free.

Try this link for contents of various cosmetics.  You can put in the "brand" name and see how they rate it.  Not ALL cosmetics are available for comparison, but at least a start:

I have just about replaced everything I put on or in my body (I no longer buy any foods in cans because of the BPA's (estrogen related) they use in linings....I check and look for high rated organic products on www.goodguide.com

Just type in a product (you can also check foods, toys, etc) like "mascara" ...or type in the name of a product like Campbell's soup/or Maybelline mascara and then put them in the highest rated grouping and it will tell you the product's safety rating.....

Some of the easier replacement products to find are the Burt's Bees products, shampoos, conditioners, etc..Aubrey's Organics, Tom's of Maine....I can find these at Walmart..Publix and the harder ones I order on Amazon...

I buy as much organic foods, whole veges and meats as I can....I guess you can say that I have become a fanatic about this stuff!!!...After reading "Anti-Cancer" and a few other books and being shocked by what our government allows in our foods, cosmetics, water, containers for food, meats, and reading over and over how the U.S is one of the sickest countries esp., cancer...and how fow the first time in history every generation is dying younger and younger because of the U.S lifestyle (it has really been an eyeopener about how many young women are being faced with this disease and how men are now even more suseptible to breast cancer), to me it has to have to do with our lifestyle...I pass along any knowledge that I acquire to anyone who will listen..

I have just ordered on amazon the following books...."The Body Toxic", "Nature's Cancer Fighting Foods". "The Cancer Survivor's Guide: Foods to help prevent cancer", "The China Study" and "Beating Cancer with Nutrition"...(I had asked for gift cards for Christmas and have used them all)....But the more I learn, the more this all makes sense to me and the better I can deal with my own health by being as pro-active as I can.....Okay, I'll get off my soapbox, now (which reminds me, I have also replaced laundry detergent, dish tabs, all soaps, cleaning products..you name it)...
