No I didnt.  I had first ct after surgery cause of breathing problems and they thought I had a clot. I think that every woman with bc should get a ct scan.  Saves problems later on if there is spread.

So if they dont offer one, it is good news.  They dont think anything is wonky.

When my biopsy came back positive, I had chest xray, mri and CT to help with the staging. Fortunately everything came back clear. But I did have lymph node involvement which is why they did the CT.

I had an MRI only before surgery but asked for a CT scan (and bone scan) a couple months ago. We don't get PET scans in Canada here, do you?

I was given a CT scan after my biopsy and an xray of my leg as the xray showed bone metasteses.  PET scans cannot be performed on everyone and the PETs ability to do a better job than the CT is still under study by the healthcare community in Canada.  Anyone with a pacemaker or a metallic ink in a tattoo or any kind of metal in their body, CANNOT have a PET scan.  I was also given a bone scan the day after my CT scan and I get CT and bone scans twice a year for monitoring purposes.

     I hope everyone is healing.

I had a CT, and bone scan after I was dx as they knew that the cancer had spread to the lymph nodes at that point.

Yes, a CT and MRI after the biopsy.

Standard with my breast surgeon was abdominal ultrasound, chest Xray and bone scan.  No CT unless suspicious findings. I am just as glad given the radiation exposure in a CT (equivalent to something like 77 mammograms or over 200 chest xrays).  I did have a breast MRI too, mainly for surgical planning as I was multi-focal.
