I just love when the beach is a great big delicious romp of art and waves and frolic.
Thank you.
I'm up and at 'em.
The GREAT news is that my dear, dear, DH spent all day yesterday taking all the stored guts of my ancient laptop: 7 gazillion pictures, hundreds of power point programs etc etc.... documents galore and transferred them to his old, but 7 squirrels faster than my machine laptop.
So I now have a machine that moves at mach speed. GREAT news so far.
He got it all accomplished just as the Buckeyes were celebrating the win last night.
The only downside so far is that I must learn an all new machine. LOL.
So now I can 'see' YouTube and it downloads in a heartbeat, but for whatever reason, I can't find the speakers on this machine. LOLOL>
So I've watched the Fireflies, but haven't heard them. falalalala.........
*****BTW: I know that I am in a cart & horse conundrum and am working to keep them from being tangled up..... but with my happy little life, and numerous flights on the calendar and speaking engagements around here & there, I have to be a tad overzealous in thinking thru/processing how this current story will unfold on behalf of the calendars & programs of others.
I am so grateful to everyone for your support and for sharing specifics as to surgery/recovery.
I am remembering to exhale. I am basking in a great sea of calm. (Yeah, I know you're all shocked. LOL!!) I think I've used these last 12 months to process this weekend at hand, if that makes any sense. I've already gone thru the denial, teeth gnashing, sobbing stuff -- lots of it last summer as I rode my bike those 827 miles.
So now I'm 'ready' and just wanna get 'er done.
I'm sure there will be plenty of sobbing at other junctures, but this morning it's all about calm.
And for that I say thank you to the angels who are supervising my growth and you friends for praying me into acceptance and maturity.
xx00xx00xx00xx
Thanks to everyone who got the welcome mat out for our new beachie kids, hopefully they'll stick around and know, like Sheila, just how much we welcome them to our midst.

Hi Beachies!!! Awwhh the pictures are just beautiful!!!
Julz---I think I need to take "picture finding 101" from you. How in the world do you come up with some of these pics!! Gorgeous!!!
Oh....I'm not sure if I welcomed the newest beachies!!! Sooooo Welcome
2hands4me, Seyla and HeyMoose........I'm sure you've been here before, but I don't think I welcomed you properly. So glad to have ya'll joining us on the beach!!!
If you're not crazy when you get here, you will be when you leave!! LOL, But we hope you don't leave! Stay around and be a part of our ups and downs, pictures turning in to "x"'s, Beach Mother holding her breath until a picture is posted at the TOP of each new page, and of course, page counting. Since the next significant number we're nearing is 500, I'm figuring we're gonna have a wild beach party that day!!! So.....start looking for those new bikinis or beach dresses.
big hugs to you all!
(((((Faithie)))) Hope you're feeling ok today. Ya been keeping that ice pack on and not living those babeeeeze have you?
-
Hi Coonie...You have no idea how much I enjoy this thread. I would never leave, unless one of us posts a naked man and board police reports it to the moderators. Hahahahaha
Before I joined here I used to goggle all kind of ocean images, look at them and be happy all by myself. I thought I was a crazy 58 year old woman who was obsessed with beaches.
I'm so glad I found you Beachies.
Hugs to Everyone
Sheila
-
Woooohooooot Sheila!!! Then you're gonna fit right in.
And sometimes, the pictures, uummmmm weeelllll, ummm, they do get a little, just a little close to the boarder police walkie talkies.....LOL....I think so far it's been ok for everyone's eyes.
So glad you've found us. It's alot of fun!!
-
Looks like somebody has a nice day....
-
I've navigated thru the waters of today: safe & sound. Calm
I've packed a quick bag and am spending these two nights here at Sarah's keeping her company.
LOL.
Well, actually I guess I'm providing her with 'relief' as she is currently out with her girls.
LOL.
So much for keeping each other company.
The change of scenery is probably a good idea.
Da babeez have snuffles, but WB & I had the nicest evening together.
It is the combination of everyone's varied image grabs that makes for such a pleasant beach.
Of course we welcome plain-typers, too!!
Now I'm on her laptop & I can't figure out how to open multiple windows.
I'm a techie infant.
LOL
So I'll just have to enjoy your pics.
Hope everyone sleeps well tonight, wakes up rested.

Hi Faith...My younger DD who is visiting from Hawaii, fixed the printer for me. I never had a password before, she says you need one for the printer okay she played around, I didnt know how she spelled the password, couldnt get into my computer and this calm woman that I am, panicked, called her she was out with her sister. Cut the long story short finally I was able to get in myPC.
I get nervous when they start playing around, she must changes something else because BCO postings and pictures were only on the right side of the screen.
Sorry for the long post.
And Im glad you are with your daughter.
Sheila
