    Hi ladies,

This is such an interesting thread.  Statistics make me very nervous because they can be so misleading, so I've chosen to avoid them as much as possible.  My DX was 15 months ago and I'm trying to keep moving forward in my life and think about BC as little as possible -- 10 times a day instead of 100 -- LOL.  Chemo ended for me in February '09, exchange surgery was in April and radiation ended in June.  Earlier this month the implant was removed and replaced because of capsular contracture.  The good part is that all test results have been normal and Arimidex seems to be doing its job.  The other good part is having hair again, although I'm not sure what to do with the curly mop that has replaced my "old hair".

Life goes on and all we can do is live it and enjoy one day at a time.  --bonnie

All of these stats make my head spin.  This ER+ showing up later is interesting news (though with less than 2 months into this thing, so much that I read on here is news to me!).  I am ER+, but my onc told me that because mine is so very aggressive, if I'm clear after 4 years "we'll know we got it all".
