Almost midnight here and no snow.
-
It's snowing like crazy here, has been for the past hour and a half.
Good nigh!
-
Good night!

-
Good morning, still snowing here. Have at least a foot. I'm staying in!
-
Good Morning. Snow stopped. Its so quiet outside.
Linda...did you have your big breakfast you were talking about?
Hi Kbug...Hoping you are more comfortable with your pain and breathing. We all waiting to join us here again. You know we cant sing without you, yesterday we tried. If you are up to it please drop by just to say hello.
Deb how is your day going?,
-
I did make breakfast before we all went out to shovel and snow blow. It's still snowing, the DH is still outside! We have about 18 inches, maybe 20. Unbelievable!. I hope it stops soon.
How are you today?
-
Im trying to learn the camera so far all I was able to do is charge the battery,,,,,still charging there is no manual instructions. I dont even know how to put the battery or the xD 2GB in.
Im getting very uneasy with this simplest things.
And what do I do to recharge the battery? Do I take it out from the camera each time?
First I have to put it in and worry next.
Heeeelp
-
I love the rechargeable batteries, they last a long time. You should have a battery charger. Mine has a diagram on the battery charger (Thank God) so I know how to put the battery in the right way. Mine has something like plus signs, - signs etc. You just have to line the battery up the right way. The SD card usually has a little diagram too. Moine looks like one corner is missing on it and then there's a diagram inside the camera letting me know which was to put it it. It will only fit one way, so don't force it.
I leave my battery in the camera until it dies, or warns me it's about to die. Then I recharge it. I also bought a spare battery so I can have a back up. It seems it always dies when the kids are doing something special in school, so having a back up is helpful!
Good luck.
STILL SNOWING!!
-
Mine has the same thing a battery charger, and all this signs I was able insert the battery nicely in the charger. The yellow light is on, so far so good. Mine takes xD card not SD.
Does the card go in the same compartment as the battery?
All I want is the basics.
With the second battery if I get one can I charge it before I needed or it has to be done immediately before changing it?
Thanks
-
Oh! They put the instruction software in the box. I dont know how to do that either
I think Im finished with this project for, something so easy to do but its making me all hyper.
Sun is out. Maybe I should go to the vegetable store or finish cleaning.
-
My SD card goes in the same compartment as the battery. I think the difference between a sd and xd card is that the xd card is really small. I think my sons camera has that.
I charge the extra battery and keep it in the camera bag. That way if one dies, I always have back up.
Still snowing. Send some sunshine my way!
-
Sun is on your way, keep looking out.
I was cleaning. Battery charger is off no more yellow light, I unplugged it.
Linda I thank you very much for helping me with my stupidest questions.
Do you charge the back up one periodically or once is charged is good for a while?
This was my last question.
Later I can start bothering Deb hahahaha
Kbug...Just a little Christmas music Lalalalalalalalalalalala alalala lala La
-
You are not bothering me. Deb is far more knowledgeable than I am!! I have been out of the workforce for too long! Dang kids!!
Once I charge the battery is lasts a long time while not being used.
Fa la la la la, la la la la!! Christmas music for Kbug.

DD just called, she is too excited . She leaves in 48 hours, she also said the day she is leaving Obama is arriving to Honolulu.
i told her be aware of the cold here, since they think when the temp goes down under 75 they are having a cold winter. haha
I join to the singing again lalalalalalalalalalalala la lala= WE wish you a Merry Xmas, we wish you a Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year.
LALA
-
I think we should all go to Hawaii to visit your DD for Christmas!! I will take 75 any day! Especially today! Snow finally stopped.
Will she be spending Christmas with you? Staying at your place? I sure hope so, sounds like fun!!
-
Yes, Xmas eve in my house and Xmas day we are going to her fathers.
She is staying with me. and Joe staying at his mothers. We told them they have a room here and a room at his mothers. She is staying 2 weeks and he is staying only 1 week.
Im so very happy. I missed them both.
-
re you going to her fathers too? I think that is awesome that you can all celebrate together!
Is Joe her BF???
hristmas Eve is at my house with DH's family and then Christmas at my Mom's house with my family. There will be about 30 of us. It's so much fun. My family is large and my DH's is so small. It works out well since my house is small, so I have his family here every other year and every other year I go to my familys.
I hope you all have fun! I know you will!
-
-
Can you see the tree? Or is it a red box???
-
-
its a red box.
-
Yes, Joe is the BF. I'm going to the father of my children on Xmas day. Both my DD with me. and my other little angel. 3 sisters together. I cant wait.
I did the camera, now I have to program the time etc... which is not an issue.
Thanks Again for your patient.
-
I'm happy to hear that you get along with your children's Dad. That's not how it is with my husbands family. When we got married 18 years ago, that was the first time my MIl and FIL saw each other since their divorce, about 18 years earlier. It was not fun and my FIL was very rude. But, don't worry, my little Italian Mother put them both in their place and told them that they would not be wrecking her daughters wedding. At the rehearsal dinner when they started arguing over who would pay the bill, my mother pulled it out of their hands and paid for it. They sent her checks the following week and she ripped them up. Oh, happy days! See, I am truly happy that you and your ex can celebrate together!
-
Its not really celebrating together with him. I will be with my girls and with my best friend.
I mean we talk when its necessary, but I wouldnt really hug him to wish him Merry Christmas.
He will be beside himself for being with her 3 daughters. He loves them. But I raised them. HA!
What happened with your picture?
-
I tried to post a picture of a Christmas tree in my yard. It did not work. Oh well.
I'm glad you will all be together for Christmas. I'm sure you did an AWESOME job raising them. You are such a kind and loving person.
I will be with my Best friend too! My DH, I am so lucky!!
-
I feel very warm inside when my friends are happy.
Maybe we can learn how to post pictures (not google ones) together.
I can even ask my DD to send you the detail instructions.
Im hungry, but too lazy to cook. I took some lamb chops out this morning they are in room temperature, I guess I have to force myself.
Im so sorry I gave the cook night off.
-
This cook just got finished serving her family and cleaning up. I roated a chicken today with stuffing, green beans, corn, roasted white and sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes (my youngest will only eat them), corn bread, cranberry sauce. Now I am stuffed!
I would love your DD to send me instructions. I know how to do it for other websites, it just does not work on BCO. Who knows!!
