Laura, I'm getting real close to feeling like Linda. I still have the nipple reconstruction, but that doesn't require general anesthesia. Then I am done!
Peace to everyone this Christmas Season.
-
Laura, I was wondering about them, too.
St. Peregrine, please intercede on behalf of our special intentions, and especially for all the women and men at bc.org. Amen

Hi Ladies! I am back from visitng family but have been nursing a cold and sore throat. I pray for all my sisters intentions on this thread every day so even if I am not reading what is going on, the Lord hears my prayers for your well being!
Hoping to hear from the two J'sss, too.
And has it not occurred to anyone who questions Holy art work and statues that so much of it is soooo beautiful that it MUST be inspired? Sheesh!
God Bless you all!

Went to mass this morining and I have just one word "REJOICE"!!!!
Yeah Jeannine, so glad you are well, now just waiting on Jennifer!
My favorite passage was part of the Homily, and I need to repeat it over and over again.
Be anxious about NOTHING, but through prayer and petition make your requests known to the Lord! And through a Peace that is beyond our understanding all will be ok.
I have repeated this to myself all day!
Prayers for Theresa today as well!

Please bless Theresa Walker and all the ladies with BC and their families and friends and caregivers. You know their needs Lord. Please heal them all as only you can. Thank you Lord for all of your blessings. The big ones and the little ones. The ones we take for granted and the ones we are so obviously grateful for. You are great. You are generous. Sorry for the very belated post. Thanks so much for the prayers. I had stage 2 recon on dec 10th...one week ago. I was pretty looped for 2 days following....demerol and phenergan pca. Walked too much sunday and had ankles like grapefruits...but they came down. I am black and blue from the contouring but know it will eventually look ok. Made it home monday evening and tuesday was lazy no big deal. Wednesday and thursday were filled w/ nausea and vomiting. Today I think I've finally turned the corner....Thank you god!
On wednesday night preop(last week) I attended the local nOLA enCourage meeting and was happy to meet up w/ a lady Alaina who had pm'd me catholic church and mass info when I went for consult back in August. She had been so good to me, shown me around NO, we had a nice time. At any rate When we saw each other last week she told me she'd just learned she had mets to spine. Ugg....Have been in touch w/ some others on the sept Nola thread but am asking you all here for your prayers as well. She is undergoing some treatment at MD Anderson.
Sorry I've not been around but truly was in a bad way the past couple days. Nice to be back
For intercessory prayers St Agatha and St. Perregrine. For all of us. xoxo, jennifer
