Hello everyone,
Feeling alot better today. Went out had a couple beers over the weekend. I had to get out. I am trying not to get to discouraged of how my foob in much higher then my real one. I have a concave area at my sternum. It is also over toward the armpit. Looks hideous. I am trying to act like things are normal. But, as you know this ordeal is not the most pleasant thing. On the up beat feeling alot better helps. I wanted to post the pictures but, I dont know how to do it. My new boob looks great (real one). My sister told me that their definitly was a discrepancy (PS told her during recovery and mentioned not to worry) Yeah right..I am definitly trying to be positive because that is just how I am. I noticed a nice gash under my foob right after surgery. Ps must have dropped the scalple. What that?? My sister told me that was the first thing I said as soon as I saw it. Tha nurse did not know what to say.
One thing for sure that I have been warned about is my blood pressure. So high since this ordeal WTF. I never had high blood pressure in my life and now...hummm cancer. Makes you wonder.

Hey Karen/Nanaiq...I think a pink tree is GREAT!
Thanks Sue-61 for the PM! I PM'd you back
-
Hey Karen, another pink one just for you my sister.
Sheila
-
cakeisgreat & Sheila,
THANKS! I love the pink tree!!!!!!!!!!. Ya know, pink was my signature collaa even before the BC. ha If I wasn't technologically impaired I would take a picture of my tiny, but cute, pink tree and post it. But, alas...
All I can think about this weekend is starting chemo this week. I've been reading Grace for Each Hour by Mary J. Nelson, and it is uplifting. I'm trying to stay positive, and as a matter of fact I AM looking forward to NO LEG HAIR. I really hate to shave my legs, so that would be a nice little perk to look forward to.
Karen
-
Karen,
Get a nice wig and you would be amazed at the time you save getting ready for the day! That was a perk to losing my hair! That and no leg shaving.
I am not trying to make light of your feelings. Most of us here who have been through chemo have experienced the exact same thing. I know some women hate the "pink" but to me it is a symbol of my femininity and that I am still here to put up pink things!!! Best wishes this week.

Sheila,
I took my last b12 this morning. I need to go and get some more!
Love the pink Christmas Tree.
I just got back from my family Christmas party. It was fun! Santa was there.
-
Did you tell Santa to make sure to head to the West Coast soon? He knows what I want.
-
He's on his way!
-
He already has my gift all he has to do is deliver on time.
-
Stage 1 here as well!
-
I'll have him drop yours off, Sheila, on the way to Meeces place!
Welcome Wendy!
-
Santa's workshop is not shipping it out until December 15.
Glad you joined us WENDY.
Sheila
-
Oh!! I sure hope it's the camera you've been wishing for! I'll have Santa deliver Meeces gifts first then U turn back to the East Coast!
-
Sheila, thank you for the Hannukah good wishes.
Did that today and yesterday, hooray for paper plates and ordering in. However, I am in agony on the masectomy side of my body, hoping I did not do too much. My upper right arm is tingling light crazy and sometimes numb which I did expect to happen.
So far with Arimidex is just fine.
Hannahbears Mom: I see I am one month behind you, my masctomy in Oct., going for my second fill this week and from reading your blog, can I anticipate April when this will be over.
Ladies, hope you are all preparing for a wonderful Christmas, I don't often post, but I do enjoy my sister stories.
-
YES! IT IS THE CAMERA
-
Happy Hannukah, Ronna! Glad you ordered in, you need to relax and take care of yourself!!
See, Sheila, I new it was a camera because Santa told me about it before he left my party. I told him to make sure he leaves instructions on how to put the pictures that you take, onto the internet! Hope he delivers it soon!
-
He told me as early as the 17th and no later than 22nd.
-
I haven't had a chance to sit on Santa's lap yet this year, so he hasn't told me when my gift will arrive. But Santa is as excited for me to have it as I am to get it, so I am sure it will be before Christmas.
-
Meece....Isn't that nice to have good relationship with Santa!
He even emails me to give delivery information.....
-
I think Santa shops at Amazon.com!
-
Santa is a very smart man. He likes free Shipping too.
-
Me too....I thik Santa might be female!
-
Santa will probably stop by Best Buy on his way to my house.
-
Ronna: The time can really vary depending on your PS. My PS did my fills every week to begin with then stretched out the time interval towards the end. It also depends how much saline needs to be added to get you to your desired size. My PS waits 3 months after the last fill to allow the skin and muscle to stretch. Not all PS do it that way. From reading on here, I've learned that a lot of PS go ahead with the exchange within weeks of the last fill. My PS then waits another 3 months before doing the nipples. I have learned a lot from the "exchange city" thread under "reconstruction" and would recommend checking it out. Good luck with your fills. TCK

Meece, they have free shipping too! Santa knows!
-
Welcome Wendy

Last year I got a tiny Nikon Coolpix 8.1 megapixels, I love it.
I don't know what santa is bringing me this year.
-
I think SC deserves a post for all by himself. I will be right back.
-

-
Deb, Santa brought me a Nikon cool pics last year too! I am still trying to figure out all the features on it! Love the camera!
