ok - big news. No I am not pregnant and no the children are not getting married...dh said he would really like to have a cat around!!! WooHoo. I think we decided on an Exotic Shorthair cat (basically a shorthaired persian). He's been around them and they don't bother his allergies. So now we are looking for a breeder - I have never done that, we always went to the pound or adopted the kitties that were born in the garage (thats happened a few times). I would like a kitten, yes they're cute, but also because I want an indoor cat and the only way I can guarrentee that is to start with a kitten. I am so excited. Here is a picture of one....

Oh GOSH Kathleen.........sorry my helpful furnace tips weren't so helpful.  Yep our igloos sure cool down quick when the furnace doesn't work right.

Yeah, we've always had mutts, strays and pound rescues - but I just once in my life thought I would be really extravegant (bucket list thing) and I just fell in love with these - dh won't admit it readily but so has he...what he says is "if it makes you happy"....

Cuties, our Coonie has posted a prayer thread for her niece who was rushed to hospital yesterday.  It's not b.c. related but nevertheless I think she'd appreciate a prayer for Whitney.
