Tamoxifen Side Effects

Hi, I have been taking Tamoxifen for one week now after having 33 radiation treatments.  My breasts are now EXTREMELY tender, the left one in particular and strangely it was my RIGHT breast that had the cancer!  Has anyone else experienced this, and does it go away?  It hurts worse than the right one did after surgery!

    I think tamoxifen makes me feel like I am pregnant!  Breast tenderness is one of the symptoms but should go away eventually.. If it doesn't definitely talk to your onc. about it.   Most of the symptoms I had went away after a few months.    Peace and health to you.   Tami

    Thank you Tami, that's EXACTLY how I feel too - I actually feel like I'm lactating!  I have a follow up appt with my surgeon next week so I can talk to her then.
