breast abcess after radiation

Has anyone else developed a painful breast abcess after radiation?  I had the mammosite concentrated 5-day radiation (which burned when they were doing it), and three months later developed an abcess. Nasty!  I was really sick, had a fever, and just finished three weeks of antibiotics.  It's better, but the radiated area is still very red, and the tissue is peeling off in big sheets.  The radiologist said she'd heard about it, but never saw a case before (lucky me...)  I'd be interested in hearing about anyone else's experience with this.
