Is anyone doing this?

Any advice on writing a business plan?

I would love to have two networking threads, one where we could put help wanted, and the other where we could hang out a shingle for service.

I am worried it might break BCO rules though.

    I don't believe we're allowed to advertise here. Hopefully, someone will come along who knows of a site where you can find what you're looking for. I wonder if there's such a place on Craig's List?

    Cookiegal, check out www.mompreneursonline.com .  It's a fabulous community of business women, and an absolute treasure trove of resources, advice, and commiseration!  Most of us there are moms who own businesses, so there is lots of talk about the nitty-gritty details of balancing home life with business life.  

    As far as a business plan, there are lots of resources online, but a good place to start is the US Small Business Administration at U.S. SBA .

    Best of luck with the business!  What a great way to move beyond cancer!  Are you thinking of a cookie business??  Mmmmm!

    My computer is doing strange things today, so if this is in an odd font forgive me.

    Yes, there are plenty of other places to list services.

    In some way it would be nice if we could support and buy from fellow sisters when possible. "Buy Pink"

    Especially since some services like accounting, web stuff, consulting can be done by phone and internet. 

    Also I just thought it would be interesting to see who from the boards is an accountant or lawyer or "life coach" or what have you.
