Dizziness on Taxol??

I had my fourth DD Taxol last Thursday and have been feeling funny the last few days.  I don't know if dizzy is the correct term, but I feel a little fuzzy in the head, slightly off, like I am about to get really dizzy.  Anyone else experienced this?

    I just completed 12 weekly doses of Taxol and felt brief episodes of dizziess a few times. The most irritating of all the SE's for me were the slight neuropathy and the scabby, bloody nose. I'll be glad when that clears up.

    I had that, but I think it was because my red blood cell count dropped.  How did your last blood work look?

    I definately had dizzy spells, and felt off balance enough to fall a few times. I also had trouble with my blood counts, as mke suggests. Both my red and white counts dipped very low, and I even ended up in the hospital a couple times needing blood transfusions and isolation for neutropenia (compromised immune system). If the dizziness gets very bad, or if you have a fever, make sure you call your doctor right away.

    Taxol can cause dizziness for some people. Also Decadron can cause dizziness, Zofran can cause dizziness, Compazine can cause dizziness and Emend can cause dizziness.



    I figure, if I can walk to the bathroom ten times a day without falling down more than 5 times, I'm doing pretty good, DAMMIT !

    Thanks for the responses, everyone!  My CBC was ok last week, very mildly anemic for the first time in this process but not enough to make me dizzy.  I have had brief episodes of dizziness, now that I thin kabout it, since on the Taxol, this just feels weird and more constant.  I guess when you inject poison into your body, what do you expect?!
