I 'love' the feeling of warm sand between my (ahem ) toes.

When my first son was two he did NOT want to sit on Santa's lap.  I was 6 months pregnant and Santa offered his other knee to me, that still didn't calm DS, so as I wobbled on Santa's right knee, I whispered to DS, "WE'll go get Chik-Fil-A if you smile".  That is the most precious santa pic I have.  His smile was so forced and I looked haggard.

love the kitties.. I really do want to get one...which is where I was when I first found this thread many months ago! My dilemma is that dh and dd are allergic - not life threatening but lots of stuffy, sneezing etc. Now that dd is mostly at school and camp for the summer, can I justify it? Maybe if I keep it to 1? (we had 5 plus a dog before)  DH would never say no, just wonder if it is the best thing to do, esp since he has been so wonderful for the past 3 yrs.  Its always something...
