Time to get out of bed cuties.

Hi All, spent most of the morning so far either shovelling snow or pushing people out of the snow banks! Got about a foot of snow last night , wind is howling and swirling the snow around. Gotta love winter! Expect another foot of snow today, very difficult to get out of our neighborhood, apparently the main roads are ploughed , snow day.

I did have a friend that had a ceramic rooster with beautiful tail feathers that she decorated with Christmas ornaments each year - we called it the Christmas chicken!

We got snow here - not as much as Canada!  It was about 3-4 inches.  The problem in getting snow in places that usually don't get snow is they (and we) can't remove it.  I can guarantee you that if we got a foot of snow here the city would close down.

I love to look at the snow - I just hate being out in it - I once owned a home on a "Snow Emergency" route which I thought was great - I could always get out of my driveway - wrong!  The plows come by 2-3 times a night and what they scrape off the roads lands in your driveway!

PK you can keep the snow the snow in Calgary.  Here on the west coast we only have the very cold temperatures.  Last night went to about -7 and now have very cold winds.  This is very cold for the lower mainland.
