reoccurrence after clear nodes

Anyone else have a recurrence after having clear nodes and a double mastectomy?

    Have you had a recurrence after a bilateral, in the same year? If so, I am so sorry to hear about that! Hopefully, someone will come by with something helpful to say...

    Yes I found a tiny bump  near my arm pit that could only be felt with my arm down. With my arm up it moved deep and could not be felt. Everyone please make sure you are checking yourselves with arms up and down. Had it removed Wednesday now waiting to see if it was nodes or a stand alone.

    Merilee,  Wow, for this to have happened so fast, it's probably a missed node.  Hopefully they won't keep you waiting too long to find out. Let us know.  Giant hugs as you wait for more news. You have many supporters here!

    The tumor I had removed Wednesday was small ( 8mm), was contained and I had clean surgical margins. Not signs of spreading or lymph nodes involvement. Thank you for all the positive light

    I had a bi-mast. 14 months ago (ILC - no nodes.)    I keep feeling something in my armpit - but I don't see or feel anything specific.  Something just seems to move against my bra and there is nothing there when I raise my arm.  At my 1 year check-ups, both the onc and surgical onc said it was just my new body - after the tramsflap recon.   But - now, after reading your posting, I will pay more attention (is that possible?  to pay even more attention to my breasts??) to the feeling.  Thanks for writing.
