Advice after Femara
Can anyone tell me what some good options are after Femara stops working? My mom has stage 4 ILC. First diagnosed 12 years ago. Had a stem cell transplant at that time. Two years ago it was discovered again in the abdominal area and she went on Femara. Recent tumor markers went from 89 to 102 in three months. Not sure if that is a big spike or not. Blood tests show something is probably blocking the kidneys. So my guess is in one month when they do another test these numbers will be up again and it will be time to change to something else. Does anyone have success stories after the Femara stops working?

I'm not sure about chemos. She had a stem cell 12 years ago so she may be resistent. Do you know cases where Femara stopped working and then Aromomosin worked?
