I have just completed my 3 sessions of FEC and 3 of Docetaxel/Herceptin and was given ice mitts and slippers to wear during treatment.I have very fragile nails from a preexisting autoimmune liver disease, but have been lucky.Other than some nail bed discomfort I haven't lost any nails. We were given a goody gift bag donated by the pharmaceutical company that manufactures Docetaxel. In it were special hand lotions and some clear thick nail polish which I've applied pretty well weekly during the past 3 treatments.

    Hope this suggestion helps someone.

I finished first TC infusion week ago. As soon as I stopped oral steroids I developed a ugly rash on my face, scalp n chest. Had many overall aches and pain. Couldn’t get comfortable at all. ONC gave me prescription for pain medication and antibiotic for the rash. Still really tired but pain medication helped me get some much needed rest. Still have the rash but it’s a little better. I wish I had called ONC earlier. No need to suffer they can help with SE’s
