Sharon - Love the hen - she is gorgeous - not very bright but gorgeous!

When I worked at People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA)'s Sanctuary we had hens raised the right way - free range.  Everyday we would collect the eggs (no easy task if the hen is territorial!) and give them away (cruelty-free eggs).  I just love birds - free ones allowed to do what nature intented.  Once someone said to me that pidgeons were only flying rats when I said how beautiful they were to which I responded I like rats too.

I love anything cute. 

This broody hen seems to have gotten it right but the perch thing is kind of amazing for the little fellow.

Sharon - how did that little thing get up there?

Coonie - precious baby - I love baby smiles too.

Did you ever notice how close a baby and an old person are?  Same thinning hair, same double chin, same belly and, in some cases, a toothless grin!
