Hi ntvinh986 Welcome. I have not been checking in too much here, been working OT. Welcome!!!!
Bette Sending you prayers.
Bless you all!
-
Bette, praying you are comfortable. Prayers still going up.
-
It is with a heavy heart I let you know that Bette entered a hospice facility near her home. Tom's giving updates almost everyday on her caringbridge site http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/bettedietrick/guestbook
Can't believe this all happened so fast..
-
This is so incredibly sad. Bette has always been such a strong positive force here. Her mantra "don't postpone joy" is so true. I'm glad Bette and Tom enjoyed each other and life!
-
Thank you BrandonMom for the information. It is truly a sad time.
-
Bette and I were diagnosed at almost the same time. I can't fathom all of this. She has strength beyond measure.
-
I'm so sad. I never met Bette in person, but we were all on this rads journey together. Sorry I posted the link to the guestbook before.http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/bettedietrick should get you to just her page. I guess God gave her Tom to help her through this journey.
-
I am so sad about Bette. She is still having a lot of pain and confusion. It does not look good according to Tom on the caringbridge site. I can't believe how fast this has happened either. It seems like she was just posting about getting married and how happy she was. Sweet Bette I hope you are pain free tonight-sleep well.
-
Tom continues to post daily on the caringbridge site. I'm afraid for Bette and do pray for them both.
HUGS Bette. Rest comfortably dear sister.

I was just coming here to update y'all. Every day I checked her site fearing for this one. Such a sad day
I'm so glad that she found Tom to be with her through this time. What a wondeful lady and it was pleasure to have met her.
-
Guess I should have come here first to post. I bumped the Bettelou where are you post under IBC with the sad news.
I have been following Bette's progress on her caringbridge site almost daily, but haven't posted any updates here in a while as I figured others have been doing the same as I. I have been dreading what I read there a short time ago.
I have heard it said there is a reason we come into people's lives, and I agree with Brandonmom, I believe that is why Tom came into Bette's life, to help her with her journey. To travel the road she has certainly was made more bearable by the love and support she got from Tom.
I'm so sorry you didn't have more time with her Tom.
-
I am so sad to hear about Bette. She loved life, her family and Tom, and I agree with everyone else, Tom came to Bette for a reason. They lived by their motto "don't postpone joy". Next time you do something joyous, think about Bette. It's a small way to honor her memory.
-
Just read this on caringbridge.
Bette, you are already missed but we know that you left Tom's arms and went directly into the arms of the Lord.
I was blessed to follor you and Tom for all these months.
-
It is with a really heavy heart that I came back to the thread and to hear of Bette. I can only find solace knowing that she had her Tom and you incredible women here for her until the end.

I am still so numb this happened so fast. You hear of women living for years with Stage 4, yet this all unfolded so quickly. What happened???
-
This beast - BC - happened!
-
It's so quiet here since Bette is gone
Just wanted to drop in a wish everyone a Happy New Year!
-
Caroline (that was my grandma's name!) - I had the same thought a couple days ago and still couldn't bring myself to post here. I guess Bette being gone just hit all of us here so hard.
-
Thinking about Bette and all of my April 2009 Rads sisters. Praying all is well with you.
Blessings.
-
It has been a year already since we all started rads hasn't it? Happy Easter eveyone
-
Two years my April 2009 Rads friends. Wondering how many of you are still lurking/posting.
HUGS.
-
Still here and doing well. Doesn't seem like 2 years ago that we were doing rads! I'm mostly on facebook. You can search and find me as Brandon Moma
-
Great to hear you are doing well. So am I.
I have a serious love/hate relationship with facebook - mostly hate so I only go on once every couple of weeks. Just can't seem to get my brain to navigate it and always losing my way.
-
April 2009 - Another year = 3 - Wow. Hope if you still lurk that you are doing well.
