Thinking about everyone today, getting ready for Thanksgiving and cooking and cleaning and OMG I am POOPED! I just finished making my sweet potatoes baked in maple syrup and brown sugar and nutmeg, my mothers recipe of mashed carrots and turnip, boiled onions and now I am waiting for the stuffing to cook. I like to cook it out side the bird. Going over my sis for Thanksgiving, she is doing the turkey and other veggies, tomorrow I have to bake the Turban squash, apple pie and pumkin pie. I think I am doing the most cooking LOL.
my song will be a lullabye, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
-
I'm sure your family will enjoy all the goodies. Yummy.
Good Night All! and lalalalalala Lullabye

My DD has been to Istanbul 2 X on her travels with work. One place Bursa and Uludag at Ortadogou university. She gave a lecture at a conference at the university and stayed in the boys dorm. Have you had Uludag soda? Her fav food is isandar kepeb.
My DD says MERHABA!
I bought some mouse traps.
((((((((((kbug))))))))))))))
-
Deb....We have to talk more about your DD favor food. Its delicious.
Merhaba to DD. You have good taste.
-
She could talk your ear off. Her next visit is in May, her and boyfriend are going to rent a sail boat and sail up the turkish coast with some other ppl.
-

Tell her I was born in Turkey but I actually am Armenian. All the Armenians spoke both languages. My daughters want to go and visit, I still have family there, I was going this summer then I changed my mind. Did she ever go to one of the Princess Islands?
The last time was there it was 1983. I don't really miss it. But its beautiful there.
-
Hi to All busy Ladies. I'm enjoying all the aroma coming from pies.
I can cook but Im not a baker. Just dropped by to say HI!
Hugs to everyone
-
I CHEATED!
My Aunt and Uncle can't make it over to my sis's house and my Aunt had the duty of making an Apple Pie, so I went to a place down the street, an apple farm, and ordered a homemade apple pie. I had Mrs. Lupiens pies B 4 and they are delish. So I don't feel guilty, because it is homemade. Now I just have to make the squash and pumpkin pie. I think I am done after that, Do I want beer or wine?
-
Both!
-
I agree
-
Is everyone cooking??
