Good Morning. I overslept and proud of myself. Lets sing lalalalalala
-
lalalalalallalalaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!! It's good to oversleep! Our bodie need it every now and then......or every weekend in my case!
I went for a very short ride on my DH's motorcycle with him today. It's only 50 with NO sunshine and let me tell you, it was cold on that bike!!!!!!
I hope you are doing something fun today!
-
lalalalalalalalalalalalalalalala♥
I slept til 10:30, I can't seem to get my rear in gear. It's about 50 and cloudy. BRRRRROOOOMMM and BRRRRRRRRRRRRRR, on that motorcycle the wind must of been cold. Did you have your leathers on?
I will PM Spar, is it her foot or does she have the piggy flu?
-
I had so many layers on it was comical.
Let us know how Spar is.
-
BTW, I believe SPAR is on bedrest because her foot is not healing properly. SHe has 4 weeks of bedrest and them back to the ortho. Hopefully a callous will form and she will begin to heal.
-
Good for you Deb, so what if you slept.
Calling DR Linda......I went crazy to find the sucking B12 tablets. I was in Stop and Shop, they have half an aisle with Vitamins. Plenty of B12 not the sucking ones. I have to go to the pharmacy at least I can ask.
On my way back I got some Pizza. Its cool outside.
kbug .how are you feeling today?
-
Enjoy your pizza. DO you have a Walmart near you? That's where I got my b-12 sublingual dots. They are made by Spring Valley.
Hope your doing well, Kbug!
Hi Foots and Debbie and any other lurkers!
-
I have Walmarts all over the place. I like to shop at the one in Hudson NH, it has food there also and not taxes.
The only supliments I take are Calcium and Vit D. What does B12 do?
I did a little planting today, put my mums in the flower beds and planted my Tarragon I had in a big pot, in my garden. My cornstalks are moldy and had to throw away a few rotting pumkins.
Only have 3 days to work next week then 4 days off and got most of my Thanksgiving food shopping done.
-
Good for you Deb!
B-12 gives you energy and helps boost metabolism. (That way we can eat more pie!)
-
I have Walmart. But I need tranportation, its half an hour away. First I will look at walmart. com if they carry it? Target its much closer.
Deb you have small farm there, oh how much Id like to plant and eat them after. Maybe this spring I will start doing it again.
Deb you see we have teachers and Doctors here. We dont have to go far for our answers.
Im even able to send the link of a picture through my email. I tried it with DD in Hawaii and her DBF too.
He emailed me back saying how proud he is that Im learning new things. About 8 months ago didnt even know how to turn it on and off. Thank you teacher.
-
Linda... I think I found it. Please check it out for me.
-
You should be proud of all you've learned. I think it's easier to learn by doing.
-
I don't do well under pressure. Tell me once or maybe twice I follow instructions, if they tell me in a tone of voice that sounds like<Are you stupid or not> doesn't work.
I'm on a mission now Interactions between our hormone therapies. Im on Femara I will post the link, then I will look for Tamoxifen and Femara.
I will post it on the other thread.
Edit to correct Im on Femara not Arimidex
-
There are some cool websites out there that give you that information. I forget what they are. Maybe I'll search tomorrow. I need to get some sleep.
Good night everyone!
We miss you Kbug and Foots. xoxo
-
Good Night< Linda> <Deb> <kbug> <Foots>
-
I do alot better with hands on training, my DD taught me alot of computer stuff.
I bought the pumpkins for decoration around the yard, but they finally rotted. Ususally the squirrels knaw at them and dig out the seeds.
Tomorrow after work I'll make my cranberry relish, it is my Mom's recipe, if you make it a few days B 4 Thanksgiving the better it tastes as the flavors of the cranberries, orange zest and walnuts mingle.
-
Oh, I forgot, I PM'd Spar, have not heard anything yet.
-
Some dishes do test better after a day or two. I just dont like leftover potatoes they taste funny.
Thank you for Deb's DD too.
-
American Chop Suey taste better the next day and the next day. I haven't made that in ages.
I probably will after Thanksgiving, we all will be sick of turkey.
-
-
That looks absolutely delicious. I can have a bog bowl right now.
Maybe I should make some popcorn
-
Deb...You changed your avatar and I got confused. Its a very beautiful picture
-
Deb, Love the new pic!! I want your cranberry relish recipe!!!
-
Morning all. Hope each of you had a good weekend. Mine was busy and with this cough I am tired. So far today not to bad. Have to finish planning my menu for thanksgiving.
Keep the prayers going for Saint.
Any news from Foots? I pray she is doing okay. Lets keep her in prayer and all our dear sisters.
-
Will defintiely keep you all in my prayers. Foots has been sending funny emails to me so I know she's out there! Hi Foots!!
Are you having Thanksgiving at your house?
-
Kbug.. Tell us what you are making? Thats always a welcome subject here. Glad you are little better today my friend. Big Huuuuuuuugs
I will keep my sisters in my prayers.
Hi Linda...I got so many phone calls this morning <during my coffee ceremony> so I feel little lost now.
Hi Deb...Are you peeking on the Internet?
-
I just bought a 20 lb turkey. LOL!!! For the three of us! My youngest won't eat it. Only cranberry sauce. I won't cook it until Saturday since I will be at my inlaws for Thanksgiving Day. The next day we are having my sons birthday party. Busy weekend. I will be making lots of soup with that turkey!!
Hope you are enjoying your coffee now!
-
By the time I was finished it was ice cold.
Make lot of soup and freeze it. I love the idea having homemade soup in the freezer
Now I will make some eggs and sausages and I don't care how much fat the sausage has in it either.
slap bam bam
-
There is a way to use leftovers. I have heard people who use turkey, gravy and potato's, stuffing and cranberry sauce by layering . Hmmmm all in one. I am cooking turkey, ham, stuffing, sweet potato's. Not sure if soing mashed potao's or pot. salad. Everyone has there likes and dislikes so I am to please. lol I also will fix collards oh and kids said have to have corn on the cob. Bought frozen pecan pie and will make my eclair dessert.
