Cancer Shower Today :)

My friends and family are throwing a "pink ribbon" shower for me this afternoon!

I've never heard of anything like this before but I love that I'm at the end of my chemo cycle so I'm feeling really well today and can hopefully enjoy it!

I'll report back later and let y'all know how it went....

    Sherri, how was the shower?  I'll bet there was a lot of pink stuff, so I hope you like pink!

    I think all of the wrappings were pink or had pink on them...it made for pretty pictures!

    It was fun and sweet.  My incisions have been really bothered by my regular bras but my husband recently bought me a stick on bra and it has worked great!  I got 2 more of those yesterday :)  I got a huge bag full of QuesyPops (anti-nausea), a couple of sets of fake eyelashes, Joel Osteen books (I requested those...my sister bought them), a few skull hats (I think that's what you call them) and scarves.

    My niece made boobie cakes as the dessert.  She asked if it was okay first and I thought it would be a little funny...it was the hit of the show!  We did a breast cancer awareness shower game.

    After the shower, I met up with someone from church who had thrown a brisket on the smoker for my family :)  That was so sweet! 

    It was a good day - next chemo is Wednesday so I feel ready to take that on again now!

    Ok I never had a bridal shower,(I got married last year), and thanks to bc, a baby shower looks unlikely, so I want one of these too!

    I gotta figure out a way to drop a hint.
