symptoms of lung mets
so its a week to my checkup with my oncologist and i have been getting my usual nervous before appt- i have noticed that i have been somewhat congested for awhile and a slight burning in my chest - coughing a little for awhile too my oncologist never does anything but blood tests thinking i should ask for a chest xray what do you think? i am tempted to say nothing ; )

It is nice to think you can ignore your symptoms. I know for me a chest xray would put my mind at ease. Knowing is being in control. I like that better than the anxiety that surrounds not knowing.

You should definitely talk with your onc and ask for a scan just to be sure and to put your mind at ease. I have lung mets and I don't have any symptoms at all if that helps :> Best of luck to you!! lisa

Go and ask for some scans. I sure hope it's just a cold or something, but if it's not, you need to be treated. Take care and hugs! ♥

I'm willing to bet it's a seasonal thing...mild cold or flu that's settled in your chest. Everyone in my office seems to have a slight cough...and some days the climb out of the subway just about brings me to my knees with a lot of huffing and puffing.

I would'nt be too concerned unless I had had it for a few weeks or so by which time a chest x ray would oput your mind at ease. In winter I tend to get every cold and cough thats going!
