Love the quote by Rep Phil Roe (a personal friend from decades ago) No one ever died of anxiety, but they can die of breast cancer.  Well said.

Is it just me, or does BO get offended by everyone who questions the government and thinks that people are attacking him directly?  I really wish he would stop acting as if he makes up and is lord over the entire government.  Last time I knew, there were 3 branches and that they were suppose to be equal...  As far as the fact that coverage does indeed follow exactly what the USPTF suggests is true, and just because BO says it doesn't, does not mean a thing, except BO is:

    1.  Trying to lie to us to deflect that this is exactly how the government health care will be like.

    2.  Doesn't understand the system and had no clue as to how it works.

I keep thinking about what the government has done with Social Security.  The government dips into it whenever they feel the need to and then screams that it is going bankrupt in the next.  The health care issue will be no different and these actions from USPTF just proves that it is true that there will be death panels.

Note: I am not attacking anyone, but just the government policies.  I never voted for either Bush and disliked Bush as much as I do BO.

If you actually read the article you see an excellent example of how words can be turned into their exact opposite with the use of a few targeted phrases (for example, take aim, blast, etc.)

I see a lot of words being taken out of context.  In reality, that article did not say much.

I'd call it a Faux headline, determined to twist the facts to suit their agenda......

Who cares who it is if it support your stance?

Fox has a point.  The "Task Force" is a government agency. (forget left and right and Democrat and Republican for a moment and look at the ACTIONS of the government as a whole) Obama is acting like he is the person who is in charge of everything..by Obamas own words that Fox just pointed out...(everyone knows that the government is suppose to be 3 branches that are equal, but with the bills and Presidential sign ins from BOTH Bush and Obama, the executive branch has an extreme amount of power throwing off the balance)  The Task Force ANSWERS to Obama thanks to the bills that were passed after 9/11 that are still in place.  Obama is acting as if he is one of the two:

    1.  Ignorant that the Task Force does indeed have so much power and that they answer to Obama.

    2.  Obama is lying to us.

Look at the evidence with an open mind.  If you want them to change the recommendation and not have what happened to me happen to your children and nieces and sisters then just look at the proof.

Please, note again, I never voted for either Bush and was just as critical of them as I am of Obama.

Fox news argued openly in a Florida court that the  first amendment gives them the  right to lie.  They lost, but then won  on appeal.  Why does a "fair and balanced" news outlet need the right to lie?  Apparently they were  so secure in their viewer loyalty that they had no fear of a backlash when they did this.

But that's one reason  why I care "who".

It's not an agency, it's an appointed panel.  But...Funny....  This particular panel was appointed by the Bush presidency.  Even funnier still, Bush's lackeys appointed a panel full of non-cancer specialists to decide about cancer!   Faux hasn't figured that out yet.

I am sure Obama doesn't know the REAL details yet.  But you can bet Kathleen Sebelius will fill him in.

who gives a crap about who appointed what to whom, playing the blame game and finger pointing is WASTING TIME!  The "task force" needs to be dealt with by THE PEOPLE.  that's us ladies.  Quit complaining about Fox (other stations report the same thing, but certin people still won't hear it)  Can't we quit complaining about all of this and deal with the problem at hand?  That's the task force and this bill!

Fox news is the only major news network to have openly argued in court that the first amendment means they have the right to lie.

While most news agencies may have a bias in reporting, the need to openly lie gives me pause -

given that, the name Faux news seems apropos.

Who cares WHERE it is coming from as long as it is helping us fight this fight that the people we love, can't afford us to lose?  These are the facts and it doesn't come from any source other than the government itself.

The USPSTF was formed to be a "panel" (their terminology not mine) to decide what the standard of care we will be forced to abide by via the words from the Senate's bill starting on page 17 of the 2,000 page bill.  The USPSTF has no interest in saving lives but saving money..how else can you explain having SBE as not a reliable source for having further treatment followed?  They cost NOTHING and have saved many lives...MINE INCLUDED!

    Web pages which prove this:

    http://www.scribd.com/doc/22734971/Senate-Democrats-Health-Care-Reform-Bill

    http://www.ahrq.gov/Clinic/uspstfix.htm

Either you are standing with the women fighting this atrocity, or you are for the government overtaking health care and the standard of that health care.  When has the government ever done anything to help a situation?  Look what they did with Social Security....they dipped into it at a moments notice and now yell how it is going broke because of THEIR actions...you want these people in control of your health care?  Look what they are proposing to do with your daughters, sisters and friends ability to detect breast cancer early all in the effort to "save" money?  Women will DIE because of these changes leaving orphans and widows that could have been saved if not for this BS!

Stop fighting amongst each other and start fighting the SYSTEM so our families remain safe!  TELL THE GOVERNMENT "NO!" TO THE USPSTF AND THE HEALTH CARE BILL WHICH ARE ONE IN THE SAME!

LeggyJ, I like FOX News, too. Seeking information from more than one source keeps us better informed and helps us come to our own conclusions.

I wouldn't worry about mean comments. That type of response reminds me of a recent incident in which Obama advisor Van Jones answered a question about the Republicans' ability to push legislation through the senate when they were in power by responding, "Because Republicans are assholes."

When you can't come up with an intelligent answer, resort to name calling. Brilliant, huh?

I will wager that if someone stubs a toe in the year 3000 the left will blame it on George Bush and then call FOX news liars for reporting it. Even Hillary Clinton said that Fox treated her more fairly than any other network. People who hate FOX news never watch it, just like they would not read this article before complaining about it just because it was a FOX report. By the way, FOX has more female reporters and pundits than any other network, and many of them, like Kirsten Powers, Greta VanSustern, and Geraldine Ferraro are dems.

I watch a very well-rounded variety of broadcasts, including Fox.  And  I  read the article.

I also did not call them liars. They demanded the "right to lie" in court. I just reminded folks of the incident, because it was a serious blow to their credibility in my view.

This wording used in the article is blatantly biased, as has been pointed out.

    TAKES AIM! BLASTED! etc.

That's not objective reporting.  Many news orgs take a view from  one side or another. But it is bizarre that folks are outraged when someone points out a slant.

By the way, of course I'm on drugs, I was DX with breast cancer last year, and went through chemo. 8 rounds of TAC, followed by 5wks of radiation. Now I have to take tamoxifen for 5yrs, which had a long list of side effects.  WHATS YOUR EXCUSE, Klee, do you really want to get into a pissing contest?
