Started Chemo Today

I was diagnosed with triple negative about a month ago and got into a clinical trial and started chemo today.   I think it went very well today, but maybe it will hit me over the next day or two. This will be my regimen for the next 5 months if I tolerate everything:

 - Paclitaxel IV over 60 minutes once weekly in weeks 1-12

  • - Dose-dense doxorubicin hydrochloride IV over 5-10 minutes and cyclophosphamide IV over 5-30 minutes (ddAC) once in weeks  13, 15, 17 and 19
  • - Bevacizumab IV over 30-90 minutes once in weeks 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, and 17

    I started chemo today and thought it went very well, but that may change over the next couple of days. 

    This will be my regimen for the next 5 months as part of a clinical trial:

    Hi Gatormom!

    I started chemo on the 20th as well.  I'm on Taxotere, Avastin and Cytoxan every 3 weeks.  I'm feeling okay so far....just a little tired today.

    Hello! I started chemo on the 11th so i am a little bit ahead of you two, but not by much! I have my second treatment this wednesday(right before Thanksgiving...i am sure that will be fun!).  I am a 31 year old mother to 2 beautiful little girls and a wife to my highschool sweet heart!     Had my second treatment today - just taxol.  Will write more about in my blog over the next day or two.  Shannon, I added your blog to my blog roll, if that's OK.
