Tricia....................................that sux! No really though.

Dr Shirley -- what's your understanding on this?
My take on Tricia sucky news that the MRI said "inconclusive" is a good thing. And, being only found in one spot on the bone scan is doubly good! My onc said it's unusual for it to be in only one place. The Pet Scan will probably give a much clearer picture. I didn't have a PET scan. Dr. Shirley.....
Tricia, here's a huge hug from all of us. We're holding on to you.
-
Laura, WWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOO!
-
I love you Dr Shirley lol:) ((((hugs)))
Keep you posted!!!!

I love you too, patient Tricia. And, I just love Ireland. It is sooooooo green there...LOL
A fellow from Ireland did a concert at my dd's church. He was excellent!
-
Shirley,
It is only so green because it rains so much lol...
Nice country if you can stand the climate:)
I apprecite your replies and thanks again !!
I hope your health is good tight now too:)

Oh crap, Tricia. I logged on here just to check on you. Sorry you have to wait longer. I hope you get some wonderful news soon!
-
Tricia -- I am so sorry about your cat. Maine Coons are so beautiful! It is so hard when it is sudden and an accident. I'm a cat mama too and I can understand the pain of your loss.
I know, it is dreadful having all this waiting. But we're stuck with it. Sigh.... I hope you get good news SOON!!!
Shirley -- Love the dancing cow!
-
Tricia, if I were rich (never happen) I would love to visit Ireland. I'd be sure to check our weather station first to see if it's raining..LOL
Elizabeth, that funny little angel is Laura. She's dancing with NED (the cow)...LOL Oops! I think I see "tits" on NED! Can't remember the real name for them. I need to find a bull!
-
LOL -- make sure he's wearing underpants!!

Tricia, this is for you. I love, love, love this song and it made me cry! I guess you "Irelanders" must like us. Of course I'm sure these angelic Celtic singers are being paid....LOL
-
Aw sweet...thanks Shirley! I hope you get to visit some day but I think you'll find you need a brolly and raincoat most days here:) It's the price we pay for all this greenery!!
Love the cow btw!

Good luck Tricia. Please keep us posted. Take care.
-
Tricia, I had to look up "brolly." LOL We call them umbrellas. I do know what a raincoat is, but I don't own one.
Yeah, I know the song was about American, but just loved those lovely voices.
Take care. I'm thinking about you.
Shirley

Ha ha , sorry Shirley! i should have said umbrellas's!
I loved rhe video, thanks for caring my friend:()
I moderate on another site where I give the advice so its nice to have someone advise me lol....
It's so hard to take your own advice too!!!
Thanks Shirley, I'm thinking bad news but just want answer's at this point:) xx
-
Tricia, I'm thinking good news. I do think your doc is being very cautious. That's a good think. And, since your MRI was negative...I think that's good. The PET scan, as you know, is very sensitive. Let us know when you are scheduled for the scan.
Oh, and I'm so sorry I didn't say, "I'm sorry" about your cat. I have four of kitties right now. I have lost too many babies. I know how it hurts. And, I know the hurt never really leaves. We smile when we think about them, and cry as well. I still have a few tears especially when I visualize them...geez, I'm gonna cry now...no I'm not cuz I'm not going to picture them in my mind.
Hope to see a post from you soon about your upcoming test.
-
Congrats to all who have had good news and hugs to those still waiting for news!
-
Yes Tricia -- let us know when your PET is scheduled. Waiting and watching for good news.
-
Thanks so much ladies, it should be early next week but there was a slight delay arranging it as I have to have it at a different hopsital.
I'm sorry too for not responding sooner, came down with a gastric bug yesterday ugh.....tend to forget there are more things than cancer to make us feel bad!
Thanks Shirley and Konakat too for your good wishes on my cat, we still miss him every day of course and maybe in time we'll get a little kitten to join the rest of our fur babies lol...xx

Tricia, sorry you were sick with tummy issues. But, I'm glad you are getting your scan done. The best part is just knowing. I didn't used to think that. Boy, have I changed! Good luck and you'll be in my thoughts and prayers.

Hi Everyone,
I had the pet/ct this morning and just got a call to say it's clear!!!! No Cancer!!!!
Phew, I'm so relieved and it has'nt sunk in yet. I'm also so grateful to all of you who have given me support through this worrying time. I thought I'd have to wait days for the results so when I heard the nurse on the phone I was sure the news was bad.
What a wonderful early Christmas present and one I'm very grateful for:)

Oh, Tricia, I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU! Those tests are stressful but isn't it wonderful to hear NED!
You take care of yourself and if I ever get to Ireland I'll definitely bring an umbrella and buy a raincoat.
Oh, and now I can stop worry about you.
HUGS, (and not gentle ones)
Shirley

Thought I'd pop in to see how you are all doing? 3 weeks from tomorrow is my hip surgery..not looking forward to it...don't like it all..nope!
Are you all ok? Let's get updated....ok.

Aw thanks so much Laura and Shirley! You both helped so much in keeping me sane through this waiting !!! I really appreciate it and am usually on the other end giving the advice and calming people down lol.....now I know how people feel when they're thanking ME:) I'm so relieved and thank you again:)
OMG, MJG!!!!! Fancy meeting you here ha ha......don't tell on me and I won't tell on you:)
Thanks for the congrats too!
Candie, I'm so sorry you have to face this surgery, but if it helps your pain it'll be worth it...hang in there and try to be brave. We all hate surgery, but thankfully this is not cancer and I always feel I can deal with anything but that!!!!
Tricia xx
