You are so kind to ask, yes we had a great time in Alaska. I didn't want to come home.  We hiked a 4.5 mile hike in Juneau, went on a train ride in Skagway and ate great food on the ship, lobster, crab, filet's, turbot and lots of pastries.  I didn't gain a pound - don't ask me how. They had a 3 mile walk around the ship, there were about 50 of us walking it.  It was amazing..

Good luck on the house prospects.  Kristi

You probably didn't gain a pound because you walked so much!  haha  Well, it's great to hear that you enjoyed yourself.  Good news for us...we bought a house!  We are moving in about a month.  Things have been going great, another PET scan at the end of August before I go back to work.  Do you feel freaked out over every lump and bump in your body?  I do, and my Dr. just keeps reassuring me that I'm fine!   Everything is else is good, I'm looking foward to a camping trip next weekend!

Hi  The lette between q and s does not wok on my compute.

Well I didn't gain anything, but did walk the Susan Komen "Walk on the deck", on the ship. Nine times around and its 3 miles.

SO happy about the house.  When we bought our 1st one.  We have bought and sold 3 now...this one is big enough and is on a 1/2 acre, so thees lots of good gardening.

Yes, I am watching everything.  I am feeling petty good so fortunately I haven't thought to much a bout it.  I ty to keep a eal positive outlook, so I have not dwell ed on any bruises or bumps.  The Doctor said don't woy about things unless it is thee More than 2 weeks.  So fa so good.

We also Ar going camping this weekend. We will have to compare notes when we get back.  Talk soon

Skydiving.......you are crazy!  How was it?

Camping was great.  The stars were amazing.  IT was about 94 degrees up in the mountains.  Really hot.  We let the kids sleep and Craig and I went for a hike.  We got kind of lost, and ended up taking a 2.5 hour hike with one water bottle.  The dog went with us and towards the end sat down in every shady spot we found.  He (the dog) drank more water than both of us.  Next time he stays with the kids.

Two days later we took a road trip to Northern California.  Took the dog with us then too, this time he was really good. We went to Universal Studios, visited my parents North of San Francisco, and ended up staying with friends in central California.  I am home now, till surgery.

It is scheduled for August 11th.  They are taking the other boob.  Kind of elective, but they are taking nodes also.  I am not looking forward to it....kinda scared.

Hope all is well....how is the house?  Kristi

Hey, so sorry I haven't written in a while, we have been busy with moving.  Finally are in the house and it's great.  Glad to hear that you had a nice trip, sounds like alot of fun.  Skydiving was pretty awesome, I would definately do it again!

Sorry to hear that you had to have another surgery.  How did it go?  I had both taken right away, elective for me as well, but glad I did it.  Are you having reconstruction?  I can tell you about mine if you decide to go that route.  Well I hope that you are healing well and starting to feel good.  I would bring you some good food if I lived closer!

Hang in there...have a good week.

    Hello Dear friend,

I also have not been on line in a long long time.  I am doing happy and feeling well.  My hopefully last surgery is next Friday the 6th.  I am having both replacements done then.  I told them all I wanted was little boobs I just wanted to make sure that the incision closes.  My Plastic Guy is a little worried about it.  But I am confident that all will go well.

I have seen your other post once in a while and the house looks great and the same with the dog. It seems like your life is falling into a great place. I am so happy for you.  Great to see life after cancer is really worth living.....Talk soon Kristi
