My onc told me I was 'young' for BC when I was dx at 45. But I'm too old for the young forrum here and I'm too young for the older women with BC forum so, yes, I think a forum, for what I understand is a very large group of women who are presently forum-less, is appropriate.

And we are asking nicely!!!

I have really been enjoying the one post you made Elimar that got us baby boomers strolling down memory lane so I am all for your idea to start a forum, but let's do it soon so I will still qualify. That big 60 is looming in the not too distant furture for me.

Yes, I am 45 and don't fit in the "younger" age group, but don't want to be in the "older" forum either! We need something for the fabulous women that fall into this group so that newbies can find us!

Remind me to never start a request thread on the weekend---however, Our Moderators were back in action on Monday (today) and our request is answered. Pretty Awesome! Come on over to the new forum, and let's make use of it to cover our common middle-aged ground and open up threads that particularly interest our age group.

Remember, it's to connect easily, not to draw a line to keep others out. Like, I've said from the beginning, in the Mid Age we don't actually "card" anyone. Wink
