december rads/schedules/ holidays

I am kind of guessing my rads will fall during the holidays....I assume they take the day off for x-mas and NYD. Does this have an impact?

I guess we won't be visiting anyone this year!

    I had my rads tx last year in December and they were closed on Christmas and New Year's Day.  I don't think a day here or there makes a negative impact.  I also missed a few other days during tx because of break downs with the equipment - they just tack those days onto to the end so you still get the same number of tx - it just pushes the finish line to a new date.

    Doesn't hurt a thing, I missed two weeks to due severe burns under my arm (peeling off 10 layers at at a time) and I missed two more weeks, cause they screwed up my arm due to the position for the first 4 days for 40-45 min a day.  So a day here and there is no biggie.

    I'll be starting rads in the next week or so. My onc said that it was important to have at least four treatments a week. So for Thanksgiving week, they're opening on Sunday - we'll have rads Sun - Wed and then have Thurs - Sun off!! Christmas and New Years fall on Fridays, so rads will be Mon - Thurs.
