Have you ever wanted to die?

No I do not want to die! I had my 63 birthday and the present was 1-2 years no cure.
Since then I have stubbornly faught back. I am walking properly again so that is a bonus. When I was first told I hid in my room, no one saw me cry but my wee dog called Gemma and we shared our love.
FIGHT BACK

PLEASE, PLEASE call you doctor immediately!! You may be depressed and there is treatment for that. You should not feel this way and you need to let someone know. It could also be a side effect to a medication/treatment that is causing this feeling. PLEASE tell your onco, or GP, and they can evaluate you. You can feel better, keep us posted on what your doc says.

i really lost it when my dog was diagnosed with nasal cancer at the same time I was dx w this freaking breast cancer. My husband is dead (3 yrs now) and I swear that dog kept me going. I hugged her everyday and thanked her for helping me thru my husband's death. I have lots of family but that dog was my bestest friend. Your dog is gonna be pretty pi$$ed off if you don't hug and kiss him/her. Please kiss your dog for me and let me know how nice that felt. I miss Nibbles sooooo much. Love, Sue

You'll come through this honey....just think of all of us, as your Angel wings! We can hold you up even when you think you can't take another minute of all the pain you are going through! I mean with your dog, & all of us, we are your family! We'll always be here for you! I sent you a private message, but it's also wonderful to see what all the other gals are saying to you! We are all worried about you...Go ahead and cry honey, but when you are through, just get up, take that 4 legged friend for a walk, look up into the sky, & know that we are all watching over you! Hugs & kisses to you dear friend! Jeannette

Hi there,
I think most of us had that feeling at one point or another. I thought about it and I have a husband and 2 kids to think about. I didn't want them to see me suffer, it would be easier. But then I thought," look I fought this stupid cancer for 8 fricken yrs already and I'll be dam if it robs me of my pleasure and the gift of life". I put it in my mind that CANCER HAS TO LEARN TO LIVE WITH ME AND MY LIFE (not the other way around, the only time I give it attention is for tx, if I have pain I focus on a bath and a book- with meds. I came on this board a while ago, and I feel more support and love here than most of my friends. The understanding here is truely overwhelming. WE SO TRUELY CARE FOR YOU. Someday the crying will stop and you will help others on this board.

I hope you are OK and will come back. So many women are worried about you. I have been where you are so I do understand. Please let us know how you are doing.
-
Cannotstopcrying, if you're reading please post something to let everyone know that you are alright. There are some very nice ladies here that are concerned about you. I check in from time to time and I'm hoping that you got some medical attention and help. As you can see, you are far from alone. Everyone is reaching out to you, grab onto our hands and let us help.

As she has only posted twice in 3 weeks, it may be that she has decided that the forum is not the place she wants to be-if you check her profile, you'll see that she last logged in on 4th November-and presumably decided at that point not to reply. It's sad and worrying when someone posts such an emotionally charged post, and then doesn't update-but there's only so many pleas for information that we can post, without stepping back and allowing her to maintain her privacy.
