    if you had shingles, a second round is rare.  If it did occur, it is usually the same side as the first round of shingles.

    HI.  Just to let you know I've had shingles 3 times.  Once when I was 11 years old on R side of abdomen.  Then just before dx with BC same area.  And again a few months ago on R side of forehead by my eye.

    My last bout of it was the most uncomfortable.  Burning shooting pain.

    Oh, that's great!  I had shingles a few years ago.  My primary said I could have the vaccine.  I declined telling her I already had shingles.  I don't know much about the vaccine.
